Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. Sorry.I'm late with my referral! 　We manage 6 buildings called [Rental Villa Okuhi Log House] at 436 Nakao, Okuhida Onsen Village, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture.Meals are not provided.It is a "self-catering, room-only accommodation". I was drawn to the delicate and beautiful form of the Finnish log, and as explained, it has lasted 100 years, and even after 30 years, it has not budged inside or outside.It's still beautiful. In the past, we received the Best Award in the vintage section of the Log House of the Year. Please come and visit the log house and open-air bath, which are now completely integrated into the surrounding landscape.And receive the energy of nature.Of course, there is no air conditioning.Refreshing even in summer. The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

"Yoko's inn Wakuwaku" is a one-day limited "away" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku".There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom.You can see the spacious countryside scenery from the window and the Northern Alps Tateyama Mountain in the distance. Guests can prepare breakfast and dinner as an option (breakfast is 1,000 yen for breakfast and 2,000 yen for dinner.Negotiable). As a feature of this accommodation, you can sing and play saxophone with the owner and his wife, as well as a wood-burning stove experience, barbecue in the yard, and study lessons at an additional cost.

Perfect base for sightseeing: 30 min from Toyama Station, 15 min to Yatsuo (Owara Festival), 40 min to Tateyama, 1 hr to Kanazawa or Himi. Hot springs are just 10 min away. Spacious kitchen for self-cooking. Nearby you’ll find sushi, izakaya, family restaurants, convenience stores, and a supermarket with fresh seafood.

Renting out an entire building. In spring, the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is recommended! We renovated a historic warehouse and transformed into a small cozy place with a Japanese style bathtub on the first floor. Inside the room, you can have a relaxing time with the bath, reading a book in peaceful and quiet atmosphere, or watch a movie on the projector. You can go for a walk in the fields and on a clear day, you will see panoramic view of the beautiful Tateyama mountain range.
