Whether you are in the Matakana / Tāwharanui for a relaxing weekend or holiday, Little Takatu is the perfect getaway spot. Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Apple Cider Lodge

Escape from the hustle of the city and experience life here! Apple Cider Lodge is located in the north part of Auckland in the Tāwharanui Peninsula next to Omaha Bay. The lodge features a garden with a Beautiful private sea and an Outdoor terrace. The lodge provides free WiFi, a TV, an Air Conditioner, a Washing Machine and a fully equipped Kitchen with a Dishwasher and Oven. It has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Queen Size and 1 King Size. We also offer an indoor fireplace in the living room.

Boutique accomodation minutes from the village. Room @ No Two is a private guest room and en-suite. It has gorgeous sun and relaxing views overlooking lush green countryside. We provide tea, coffee and muesli. There is a small fridge to keep your market goodies chilled. You’ll have your own private access, car park, a lovely bathroom, TV and Wifi. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.
