Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tawonga

Wayne and Vera’s cosy house worked perfectly for us. Plenty of room to park our tow vehicle, trailer and MG. The beds were super comfortable. Spacious lounge. Plus so many thoughtful little additions- Gluten free Tim tams and Oreos in the fridge, milk, even a sewing kit. The house is clean and only a few blocks from the middle of town but incredibly quiet. Great place to stay. ❤️

This is our second time staying here. Its a great place to stay and we all enjoy it. Very quiet. Fantastic engagement with Emma organising the booking, lots of info on the local community, easy to get to, and a well organised home for us to stay. Being able to instantly switch off is a great way to start a long weekend and we could all do it here. Comfortable beds. A great lounge to relax on. Well laid out kitchen. Easy to use laundry facilities. Lots of natural light coming in to every room. We are already planning a return visit.

Great house in a private location off a slip road. Very close & easy walking to the lovely little town of Yackandandah. It has a great hotel, a good supermarket, pharmacy, cafes etc. Everything at the house was as described or better. Good kitchen with plenty pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Host provided bread, milk & eggs and there were cereals, jams, salt, pepper, oil and more. We used the main bedroom and it was roomy and the bed comfy. Our 2 small dogs loved the yard and slept in their dog beds in the large laundry. We would definitely return and happily recommend the house to others looking to visit Yackandandah.

An absolute gem of a space, right close to the city centre. Had everything that you need to make your stay pleasant if travelling with kids and pets. You can walk to Coles, Mcdonalds, Hungry Jack’s, Kmart and local pubs and restaurants. The house has 3 beautifully positioned bedrooms and couple of toilets to make things easy. The modern kitchen has enough space and plenty of utensils and cutlery for us all. The yard was very secure for our 2 big dogs to be left alone for a little while, without any stress. Marcia and Troy are very responsive if you need anything sorted before and while you’re staying. Clear instructions while checking in and checking out were very helpful, and we were also granted an hour’s extension upon asking which was very kind of them. We really had a very pleasant stay in Wangaratta and would recommend this place to anyone, anyday! Thank you again☺️

The house was great. We were back visiting family after living in Wodong for 26 years . So knew the area well. The backyard was lovely , the 20 month old really enjoyed being able to run around barefoot , as well as kick his little footy. The inside felt bigger than the photos. We felt so relaxed, and really appreciated all the things available for a toddler. (And adults ) No complaints from us at all. Mum, dad, toddler and grandma.

Such a great place that catered for a large group. Very comfortable with plenty of room for both adults and kids. Fantastic having several bathrooms and toilets with so many people is a big tick!! It was decorated beautifully in the era that it was built. We will definitely rebook again!

We have just spent 4 nights here. The cute little farmhouse overlooks paddocks and misty hills with cow, sheep and birds! It's on private property a little way from town so it is very quiet and private. The inside is nicely renovated and has everything you might need to be comfortable. The directions online described how to get there perfectly (hint: don't trust Google Maps!) We had car troubles on our second day and were navigating a pretty stressful situation. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We had a lovely stay, Thanks Martine and Daniel.

Great property, in a beautiful town. Clean, new, well furnished, private, walk away from the main town, shops, restaurants, etc..

Wow!! What an amazing place from the views to the pool the apartment was perfect and had everything you needed. Lynda and Andrew were helpful and very responsive with messages. Perfect location between Mansfield and Mount Buller Recommended apartment and host

Terry and Row’s place was great! It was very clean and felt very homey and welcoming. They were very communicative and helpful and allowed us to check in early which was very lovely. Would happily stay here again.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joelene’s property. It was well-kept and in an excellent location. Joelene was very accommodating and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you, Joelene, for making our first time in Bright such a lovely weekend.

Tina and Row were extremely hospitable, and very communicative. Very comfortable place to stay, they were great at the small touches which really add to a stay. Small examples, fresh milk in fridge waiting, good quality shower products provided, kitchen well equipped. The apartment feels newly updated and is spotlessly clean. Tina and Row were very friendly and I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in this lovely apartment. It is very spacious and comfortable. Very clean with everything we needed. Plenty of kitchen bench space and loads of storage. So close to everything on main street but surprisingly quiet, particularly as bedroom is at the back. It is one of two apartments with a shared large balcony so would be great for family to have both apartments & the whole balcony. We had a neighbouring guest but with such thick walls we couldn't hear them at all. Stairs up from carpark which is off street, behind shops. Loved the decor & industrial chique feel. Wangaratta is a lovely town & the cafes/restaurants along the river walk were great. We would stay again at Marcia's apartments.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Mary’s place. The apartment had everything we needed - from the super comfy bed and sofa, to all the kitchen amenities, as well as the high quality shampoo and hair conditioner that kept my hair very smooth even during winter times. I got to enjoy a nice cup of coffee every morning before hitting the slope as there’s a nespresso machine (there’s even cocoa powder provided to put on top of my coffee!!). From every little details, you could tell how much thoughts the host has put into designing this apartment. Location is perfect as well as it’s right at the centre of Hotham Central. Also, Mary is a super friendly and helpful host, very responsive whenever we needed help. We would love to stay here again.

Had a great stay here with a group of friends for a ski weekend in Mt Hotham. The place is so well set up, very spacious and the fire was going when we arrived. Kitchen has everything you need, big comfy couches and warm heaters throughout. Location is great, can easily walk to the shops or pub. Highly recommend!

Love coming back here, the perfect place for a cozy retreat in the mountains with spectacular views - the sunsets and the stars are breathtaking! And Haz is amazing and always super helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at Renja’s apartment. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable, perfect for our weekend at Falls Creek. Renja was a great host, very responsive and provided clear instructions.

Had a lovely stay, Mary was wonderful to communicate with. Had trouble finding the place until we went in & read the how to find (I just hadn’t read it prior). We had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay! Katherine gave clear instructions and plenty of information about the area. Our group of 6 adults were comfortable and found it a very enjoyable place to spend our family reunion. The kitchen had anything you needed including a cake tin which we had forgotten. You will need to do your own cleaning as you leave and you’re relying on the guests before you to have cleaned the place, so it was decently clean but not pristine. However for the location and the shoulder season prices it was very much worth the trip! We would happily be back for future gatherings!
