The place was so serene and the beach is just a few steps away. At night we can hear the calming ocean waves and the cool winds. We truly loved the place and there are lots of open space which you can enjoyed with ur loved ones. Even has BBQ pits set up, just need to buy ur BBQ stuff and also you can set up a campfire there too! I would definitely come again and enjoy the serenity of Tanjong Jara Beach! I am missing Dungun so much already! Thank you so much Edina for hosting us!!

Highly recommended!!! Perfectly situated in front of sea view, calm n quiet with nice breeze and serene. Well decorated, cozy, *CLEAN*, spacious and economic villa to stay with family and friends. Top notch amenities, all well maintained and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We really enjoy staying there with our 'onguard' security 'Charis The Cat'. Thank you to Kak Ju who manage the place and always be kind to us during our stay at Charis. Overall, it was an awesome great stay!!!!

Its worth it, that’s all I gotta say. It’s super beautiful! Most importantly its near Jetty Marang to Pulau hehe. The villa is located in a village area and hv local eateries nearby. The architecture is stunning, with neat and well-designed wooden structures. Sangat gr@mmable. The caretakers are all nice & friendly. The host gave clear instructions, lovely & comel do'oh too! Love that we got some kuih upon arrival. We stayed in the Heliconia Chalet, which has a small jacuzzi/pool. It’s semi-outdoor but still private. The pool is a bit deep for kids around 2-3 years old (under 90cm), so they’d need a float. But for us, it was perfect because we could keep an eye on the kids while they played, and we didn’t get too exhausted watching them, win-win situation haha! Chalet was super clean & had everything we needed. Staff even gave us a little tour around the villa, and every spot was just gorgeous. If we get the chance for another island trip, we’re definitely bringing the whole fam!

We had a very good stay at The Forrest Timurbay. The apartment is clean and exactly as described in the listing. The place is quite small but it was fine for us for four nights. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the small balcony. Also it was great to have a washing machine we could use! Fad is an excellent host. Although we never met in person, he was always available and responded fast to our requests. All the facilities of the building were great, especially the pool! Close to Timurbay are some restaurants and shops. The city of Kuantan is easy to reach by grab. We definitely recommend this place and will stay here again if visiting Kuantan.

Sik Yee’s place is the best place you can stay in Kuantan. Reasonable price, great property overseeing the beach and sea makes it an ideal stay for me. The property is exactly like the picture and there are a lot of convenient shops and restaurants within walking distance to the property. We had a great experience having Valentine’s Day dinner at the balcony. Very easy instruction for self check in and the decor is tastefully arranged. Will surely visit this place again on my next visit. You gotta give HyggeHome a stay! Worth every penny!

I had an amazing day and night here! A special thanks to Siti Amira—she is such a kind and warm-hearted girl. Even though it was not yet check-in time and the weather was really hot, she stayed with me, wandering around, taking pictures, and even treated me to some delicious food and sweet coconut juice. She then took me to the homestay, and I was really happy. I also want to thank Mat Bri for being so responsible and thoughtful. When I lost my cash, he comforted me and took me to the nearest ATM to exchange money. They are truly wonderful people, and I felt so warm and cared for. The homestay itself is also beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfortable. If I get the chance, I will definitely come back!

The cottage sits in a peaceful, quiet area and is not hard to find via navi apps Check in is super easy and the house design, cleanliness and fresh smell caught our senses immediately The house is well equipped though guests shall need to be prepared with the possibility of unstable wifi connection; which wasn't a big deal for us as Ms Syafiqah our host has precautioned us earlier Ms Syafiqah is a very friendly and responsive host. She even treated us by delivering breakfast and delivered our order for delicious dinner much earlier than scheduled The cottage is truly a hidden gem in the area!

Exactly like what other people reviewed. The place is private and we got the beach on our own! It was near to merang jetty for day trip to Redang Island too. Plenty of restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Both oya and ena were friendly and helpful. Totally recommended this homey place 🥰

Both Timurbay's stay and facilities are of high quality. Good internet, lovely shower, pleasant bed, nice pool, right on the beach and an excellent host. We stayed for 6 weeks and got housekeeping in between, which made the stay great! Timurbay is easily accessible with a bus stop in front of the door, and grab is also easy to do. Finally, there are nice restaurants and shops in front of the property. Even a good supermarket, ideal!
