Monthly Rentals in The Bog

The whole idea of the stay we was wanted was to escape, and that we did. It was incredible to be able to wake up to incredible views and scenery. Everything that was described and photos are exactly as they are, if anything don’t do it enough justice.. if you haven’t been, you are truly missing out on this incredible stay..!! We will be back !!!!

Amazing value for a full apartment Centrally located in a lovely location The bells were comforting for us The music in the vaults nearby was not too loud and the musicians were excellent Jenny is a lovely friendly lady who is very responsive Tahira in the chai cafe below was so knowledgeable about everything in the world and very friendly: a must visit for Indian food or tea/coffee or to see her paintings Three tunnes pub is worth a visit Six bells and the vault pub are also worth visiting You are staying in a building that dates to the 1500’s but all mod cons there and lots of extra cooking equipment I liked that there were steam pans as id forgotten mine Jennys place is worthy of at least 8 stars Thank you for preserving such a great building

As soon as we arrived at the skyloft, we were amazed at how beautiful, cozy and clean the private space was. The local area called the Bog, could be seen from the Skyloft windows and provided such amazing views. These were perfect to watch the sun rise and sun set across the distant Shropshire hills. To be able to relax in the hot tub in the evenings was the perfect way to end each day after a busy time exploring the Bog/ the Stiperstones. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, and responded within minutes each time we had a query, and was also proactive in providing all necessary instructions to locate and gain access to Skyloft, as well as providing helpful recommendations of local pubs and places to eat. She had also very kindly left a welcome hamper upon arrival. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely consider returning in the near future.

Had a fabulous stay at the cottage. Everything you need has been thought of. Very comfortable bed and the shower was excellent! Karen recommended Ludlow Food Festival which was very good and Ludlow itself is well worth a visit with lots of history.
