Enjoy a variety of nearby walking trails and exceptional tourist attractions (Puy-de-Dôme and the Auvergne volcanic chain, Vichy, the ‘Queen of Spa Towns’, charming little villages such as Châteldon or Charroux, etc.).

The charm of the bocages

19th century farmhouse 2.6 km from the center of Charlieu, a small medieval town bearing the label "one of the most beautiful detours in France", you will have a view of the Beaujolais mountains. Natural air conditioning thanks to the rammed earth walls. In this bocage landscape, you will enjoy a cultural stay, museums, abbey...), gastronomic, sports and relaxation. Charming cottage in stone, wood and tiles, located in the countryside at an altitude of 700 m and easy to reach from the A89. Breathtaking views of the countryside and the Forez Mountains… Gite located on a 1 hectare plot, surrounded by animals: cows, donkeys, sheep, goats. "Gite des Contes Amérindiens" with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 50 m2 living room, a beautiful wooden terrace and a large garden. (max. 8 pers) heated and secure pool. Sauna available upon reservation. 2 bedrooms: 1 for a couple and the 2nd, thanks to its bunk bed, for 3 children or a 2nd couple. Its equipped kitchen, open to the living room, will allow you to share convivial moments. Netflix and Canal+, for your movie nights. Heated swimming pool from June to September and open all year round.

House or bed and breakfast

Need to go green? Come and recharge your batteries away from noise, lights and pollution in this 1812 retreat where greenery, old stones, old wood await you, but with all modern comforts. Wifi permanently cut off (except in emergencies) for less frequent disturbances, no TV but video projectors for movie buffs. Large kitchen, living room and shared bathroom. Rentable by the room (3 bedrooms and 3 different prices) or as a self-catering cottage (I live in another building).

Sleeps 6 + 1 baby, Equipped kitchen, Wifi Enclosed land 1400 m2 Dogs allowed except in bedrooms. From 10/01 to 05/01 + €13/night due to heating: 2 heat pumps + radiators + wood fireplace. During holidays and vacations, I don't rent for a single night.
