The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

In addition, this accommodation is close to Bagnoles de l'Orne, (about 4 km) where there are various activities: Swimming pool (open from 06/21 to 09/03) Spa, Bike trail, Tree climbing, Greenway, Lake, Castle, Forest walk, Casino, Cinema. Markets (Wednesday & Friday in Bagnoles Château, Tuesday & Saturday in Bagnoles Lac).

Halfway between Mont St Michel and the Loire Valley castles! On a hiking trail, you will be comfortably housed in the quiet of the countryside and in complete independence. Wildlife is everywhere — last year a family of baby owls nested in the garden. Deer often pass through the fields, and you may spot squirrels, toads and many birds.

However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

With the Musee de Cidre on your doorstep, there is plenty to see and do.

The Gîte offers accommodation with a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna cabin and a 5-seater hot tub, as well as a gym. The house includes upstairs 1 master suite with bathroom including a spa bath, a cozy living room equipped with a sofa bed and on the ground floor, 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower, 1 dining room with 1 wood stove and a fully equipped kitchen. Towels and bedding are provided.

La Maison d’Apolline is a charming little property located in Lassay-les-Châteaux, 2 km from Lassay Castle and 15 km from Bagnoles-de-l’Orne in Normandy (a 15-minute drive). The house is composed of a ground floor (entrance, mezzanine, living room, dining area and kitchen) and a floor (bedroom and bathroom) fully equipped and offering free wifi. The metal staircase is central. The decoration is neat. The equipment is rather high-end.
