Ashdown Cottage, two bedroom cottage

The accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen-diner, cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Close by is a quiet sitting area with a lock up shed for bikes etc. The large bedroom is spacious with a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured as a single or twin. A cot can be provided on request. bed linen and towels are provided and heating and electric costs are included in the rental charge. Sorry no pets. Valentine Cottage, situated in a tranquil area of old Tideswell, has delightful views to fall in love with. The generous gardens to three sides are south-west facing and can be bathed in glorious sunshine all day long. This cosy 180 year old stone built character cottage has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with a traditional look, but with excellent modern conveniences and accessories. The luxurious and comfortable self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 6 people.

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

The house, which has been in our family for over 25 years, was previously our happy home. It lies in the heart of the village with pubs, shops and cafes/restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Stone Cottage is the perfect base for all the walks, climbing and cycling the area has to offer.

This really is the Old Smithy! Dating back to the mid 19th-century, renovated in 2021. It's a charming, cheerful, building located in the centre of Tideswell. For those who love country walks, there are plenty, right on your doorstep. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, The Monsal Trail (to name a few) are but a short journey away. The village boasts many amenities - a Co-op, bakery, a butcher, Pharmacy, café, several pubs and a superb restaurant-all in walking distance.
