“We absolutely loved our stay at the rooftop apartment! From all the Airbnb places that we’ve visited, this must have been the nicest one. It’s a beautifully decorated place to stay at, with a wonderful view over the trees and the ocean. It’s a five minutes drive from a number of breathtakingly beautiful beaches. It felt like home because it is cozy and has everything that you need, but also because of Amanda’s and Piotr’s warm hospitality. They were very welcoming (they had for example bought some food for us when we arrived), very accommodating (we checked out later than planned) and very helpful for things to do around the island (they recommended a fishing/snorkeling excursion and a place for windsurfing, both of which were great!, as well as a couple of great spots to eat). Plus they have 3 very cute and well behaved dogs! Our stay went by too fast, and we definitely would have wanted to spend a few extra days on the beautiful balcony, in the pool or at all the beautiful sites close by. We’re definitely planning to come back!”

“We chose this lovely cottage as we wanted something completely different to being held prisoner at an all inclusive resort. We hadn't used Airbnb before so did not know what to expect but their service as excellent, as was Andrew's. He met us at the airport and took us to our driver. We had opted to pick up our hire car later in the stay as we felt driving on unfamiliar roads in the dark after travelling for 12 hours wouldn't be the best way to start a holiday. Our driver, Ital, was great, really friendly and helpful and stopped at a shop for us to pick up some essentials he then picked us up again the next day to take us to stock up until we picked up our car. Brigdet, who looks after the location met us at the house and made sure we were settled. The house was just lovely, really pretty, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. When we were able to see everything properly in the light the next day we were delighted. The views, the sounds, the big top balcony, the lower veranda and the huge space around the property gave us the privacy and different experience we were looking for. Andrew gets the hosting thing just right, he's available when needed but not in your face, Bridget is lovely, she's around most days and always helpful but just leaves you to do your own thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property if you like being away from the crowds. You do need sturdy trainers to get to the beach and waterfall, and you do need to be quite fit as it's more of a short hike than a walk. If you like your beach visits less challenging try the beach at Parlatuvier or Englishman's bay!”
Magical Xanadu, a love experience, perched like the many unique birds in our tropical forest on a hill top over looking the bay of Parlatuvier. Built with passion for out door living, totally natural on an ancient cocoa estate with private waterfall
“We spent two weeks in Tobago and all of it was good, but the week spent here was the highlight of our trip. Here you are surrounded by nature, you have a great pool and a view that is second to none. And you have privacy. Most of your "company" here will consist of birds, lizards, bats and fireflies. So definitely worth making the trip to Parlatuvier for this experience. Things to note: you need to be independent-minded travelers who can rent a car, stock up at a supermarket on the way and then brings things up here to enjoy. You do need a four-wheel drive car to comfortably get up here. With that said, we had a two-wheel drive with good ground clearance and were able to drive up almost the entire way. Mosquito netting is on all beds so you are not bothered by any insects when sleeping. We also had citronella sprays and that was enough to keep the not so many mosquitoes away when out on the deck. Do visit the private waterfall when here. Overall, you can only be appreciative that places like this have been made and are available to come and enjoy.”
