Lakeside Cottage

JanineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Absolutely beautiful! Spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary. So peaceful and quiet. The lake is literally out the back deck door. We took a slight wrong turn and I reached out to Elaine and she helped us out immediately. She was even waiting at the cottage to make sure we found it. The cottage was so clean and cozy. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Elaine!

This was a well thought out vacation rental that had everything a person needed for a comfortable stay. Finding the place, checking in and out was easy. After we checked in Cate e-mailed to see if there was anything we needed. I would not hesitate to rent this house again

Spacious Waterfront Home on Seneca Lake Wine Trail

CarrieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
If you like lake life, this is a great spot for you. We are cooks and the kitchen was everything we needed it to be. With each bedroom full having two common areas was nice. The view made us feel at home. Looking forward to future visits if the stars align.

Beautiful home on south end of Skaneateles Lake

JulieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had the most wonderful weekend at the lake! This was perhaps the most accommodating home we have stayed in. Heidi and Emily are offering everything -- from the fireplace (already stocked with wood), to a canoe, to lawn games, a dedicated dog area outdoors, and an amazingly well-stocked library. This house truly has it all. It was the perfect location for our 9-member family vacation for grandparents, parents, kids, and 2 dogs. We loved every moment. The house has a great, sprawling layout that seems to go on forever! That means the 3 back bedrooms are quiet, and the door in between them and the living area is great for the early risers while the late sleepers snooze. There are so many nooks for hanging out and having side conversations while still feeling a part of the group, but also a few areas to go for some solitude. We really couldn't have asked for anything more than this home offers. And the views of the lake, both from the home and from the beach/dock, can't be beat!

Secluded Cottage On Seneca Lake

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Such a great cabin! Plenty of room for 2 people and 2 80lb dogs. The views are amazing-you couldn’t be any closer to the water. There are docks and cabins close by, but it does feel private. Being October, there wasn’t too much activity on the lake..even with temps in the 80s! It made for a really relaxing trip. We were lucky enough to see a loon and had eagles fly overhead daily..we even had a beaver swim right next to us on the dock!! The cabin has a cozy fireplace (heater) and was well equipped with everything you need. The linens were soft, the towels were thick and the bed was very comfortable! Kayaking was wonderful when the wind allowed. Fishing from the dock wasn’t great, but then again, I am more versed in creek/pond fishing rather than giant lake fishing. I did have a great day fishing at a nearby pond in Hector on the interlocken trail..called teeter pond. Our host (Gillian) was wonderful. It was evident that her guests experience was really important to her.

Scottland Yard Farm stay Wisteria- Glamping Tent

MelissaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Scottland Yard Farm is amazing. We had the most comfortable sleep we have ever had "glamping". The tent was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and it was super helpful to have a heated blanket, fan, and a fridge in our space. The communal areas are great too! I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry spaces were. The animals were adorable and overall I would highly recommend staying here!

Farmstay Scottland Yard Farm- Queen's Quarters

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great, clean, spacious place! The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were supplied with everything we needed. Felt at home and the place is so warm! This place seems like it’d be great for summer/spring time. 15 minutes to Ithaca. Only negative thing was that there was a dog barking constantly, not sure if it was the owner or a guest, but our dog was too scared to go out and potty throughout the entire day.

Upscale Rustic Garden House Seasonal Cabin

JanineRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We were blown away by our beautiful stay over the weekend. My 2 close friends and I spent the weekend to celebrate a bachelorette party. The pictures do not do this spot justice- it is majestic! We especially enjoyed spending time by the koi pond, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the animals and the adorable shops on the property. I would highly recommend for a getaway very close to Ithaca, NY.

South Skaneateles, Secluded Cottage

KathleenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Alison’s home was even more lovely than the photos! My family of four (all adults) spent the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The property was so beautiful and private. The swimming pond, gardens, walking trails, patios and sauna gave us plenty of opportunity for both exploring and relaxing. The house is so comfortable and had everything we needed. Alison, Mike and their dog, Ghost were the perfect hosts! We did not want to leave and are already looking forward to returning ! This has been our favorite Airbnb yet!

Martha's place is lovely. Adorable cottage in a great location. It's a short drive to town for restaurants. stores and parks. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful, a quiet little spot with a beautiful view. It was exactly what we needed, and a great view to relax by. The kitchen was nicely equipped also for preparing a few meals. Thank you for sharing your cottage.

Lakehouse on Cayuga

RyanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Great spot right on the water overlooking Cayuga lake. we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and moonrises from the porch. It's also only 5-10m from downtown Ithaca, and 5m from taughannock falls, 15m from Cornell. Seneca lake wineries /breweries only 25m away. Property extremely well appointed: not cluttered, but still enough kitchenware, bedding, games, etc. The elevator via the driveway is great (and a fun quirk!) but I might recommend using the lower lot (via Ithaca yacht club) for bigger unloading/loading. we also enjoyed evening walks to the IYC kids park and nearby waterfalls. Glenwood pines also only a 5m walk (or 1m ride) for a quick bite. overall highly recommend! Cayuga nature center/treehouse was also close and fun for kiddos.

Cayuga Lakefront Camp

DoreenRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Ramsey was an excellent host, very responsive and considerate. We lived in Interlaken for 20 years and came back for the weekend with the whole family and staying at Ramsey’s cottage felt like we were right back at home. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to wake up to peaceful mornings on the lake, close access to wineries and breweries, and a few mile drive into downtown Trumansburg!

Sunset Lake House

JohnRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Cindy’s own description of their space didn’t do it justice. It was even nicer than described and an even more beautiful spot than portrayed in her pictures! Location was wonderful. Very central to our stay as we attended our nephew’s wedding festivities. Waterfront location was spectacular and we got lucky with the weather, which called for rain all weekend, but never truly came. We’ll stay again if ever headed for Ithaca!

Cayuga Lake Retreat with Level Lake Front

MichelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This is a cute 1940s cabin right by the lake. It's not fancy, but it's right by the lake and sheltered by big old trees. It's also well equipped with kitchen utensils and kindling for the firepit, plus kayaks and life vests and pretty much everything we wanted for an outdoor weekend. I wish more lake houses were still like this! Nearby Milliken Station coal power plant shut down in 2019, so the railroad tracks for the coal deliveries are grown over with wildflowers and it's quite picturesque. Jenny notes that the water is not considered potable, however (related?), so make sure you bring drinking water! We had a fun time visiting Bright Leaf Vineyard, Aurora Shoe Co, and Aurora Brewing, and wandering around the town of Aurora (restored by the founder of American Girl Dolls), even though her alma mater Wells College is closing.

Cottage directly on Cayuga Lake

LydiaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Can’t beat this location right on Lake Cayuga, still close to downtown Ithaca, wineries, and hiking! House is exactly as advertised, a peaceful cottage on the lake. Yes there are 85 steps, and they are a lot, but worth it for the lake views! Beth was very responsive and helped us out right away with a neighbor’s dog barking at night. Thanks Beth for a great stay!!

Secluded 120 ft private beach

MollyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My friends and I had a blast at the Lakehouse! It was so special to sleep with the lake breeze and wake up to the sounds of the gentle waves. What a gem! We did end up bringing our own jugs of water as the tap water had a bit of a strange taste but other than that everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Best spot on Cayuga Lake!

GaryRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Sophia’s house is great! Very cool design. Back deck is very spacious with incredible lake views. A short walk down the stairs brings you right to the dock. I would recommend this to anyone looking to accommodate a larger group. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
