Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. Otaki shirobamboo shoots are renowned for their mild bitterness, and the best time to eat them is from late March to late April.(It looks like it will be after the start of April this year.)
