Holiday rentals in Tornado

This place was a great stay while attending a conference at the civic center. The area is very walkable with plenty of sidewalks. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay here again in the future.

Everything were great! We had a very good 4 nights stay! The kitchen was a wonderful place for me to cook some home meals! She has a lot of kitchen tools/pots/pans/baking stuffs for you to use. The only thing I can say is she could use a new set of pans. The weather was not cooperating so we only used the kayaks/paddleboard for a day. The kids and my husband had so much fun! Roads are pretty windy, suggest to take those Dramamine if you have a weak stomach to tolerate the windy road. Grocery stores are pretty far 30-45 mins so stock up before heading there. The Family Dollar have pretty much everything except fruits/veggies/meats. Highly recommended to visit the New River Gorge National Park!!! I wish I have more times to do a bit more hiking trails. I will definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay. So close to the Bearwallow trail head. Very convenient to restaurants and gas stations.

First time using Airbnb, and it was great! The slight swaying of the place was a little anxiety inducing but I knew it was gonna because the pictures showed how it was raised and I saw it in another review so we got used to it. The best parts are how clean and cozy it was, and how nice and helpful the hosts were. They gave a lot of directions, and info, plus the guide was helpful for local recommendations and what to see and what to avoid. Everything was clean and in order, everything we expected to see provided. We would definitely stay again.

Kim was a great host! She was very responsive and helpful! This was our second stay with her. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Loved all the pet friendly aspect!

We had a great stay. The space was nice, clean, and cozy inside. Francesca was extremely responsive to all our questions, and she supplied us with tons of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat based on our personal interests. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a competitively priced cabin near New River Gorge - and worth mentioning it is centrally located between to two wonderful towns (Fayetteville and Beckley) which have a surprising amount of craft shops and great restaurants.

This is the second property we've stayed at hosted by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is an excellent host- she is very responsive to all queries and requests and her homes are immaculately clean and welcoming when you arrive. The Oak Hill property is located in a residential neighborhood. We found it to be very quiet and had no issues with dogs barking (as other reviewers mentioned). The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The beds are firm and comfortable, as are the linens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Steven & Becky are GREAT hosts! Super friendly, quick communication and clear instructions on the place. They even left us snacks! (Kid approved snacks too!) The house was squeaky clean and cool when we arrived. The Boomer Bungalow is a cute house and feels just like home. I definitely would recommend staying here and I certainly would come back.
