New place to stay

Surrounded by mountains and rice fields, a little off the beaten track, Why not enjoy a relaxing stay as if you had returned home to your family?!️

Built in …, a former merchant's house dating back approximately 150 years, It is a large historic house that seems to be a different flowing time, and I hope you can relax and feel that it would be nice to have such a hometown. If you enter the gate, you can hear the sound of water falling into the pond, depending on the season, birds, insects, and sometimes dragonflies in the house.😅 In the summer, enjoy a special moment with our homemade desserts and drinks, grown organically in a cool cave. There are also many walks to enjoy nature. The drinking water is delicious well water, of course, natural water❗️ I think it's because of this natural water that they say the coffee is delicious. Many guests take this water home with them!️ We would like to have a farming and harvesting experience in the vegetable garden, and if the timing is right, we also want you to enjoy digging, picking chestnuts, etc. Sometimes, you can take fresh vegetables home as a free souvenir. It is about a 30-minute drive from Tottori Conan Airport, about 20 minutes from the sand dunes, and about five minutes from Iwami Station and the Uratomi Interchange in Sanin Kinki-do. A room where you can enjoy karaoke and mahjong, In addition, thanks to the support of many people, we were able to install a bonfire pit in the area behind the mountain. You can also have BBQs and bonfires 🔥.

All-you-can-use sauna, private rental, old private house

This private traditional kominka guesthouse was lovingly renovated by the owner, JP, a DIY enthusiast, who envisioned his ideal way of life, transforming a 150-year-old traditional house. The stand-out feature of this inn is its one-of-a-kind ‘egg sauna’. This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, whether it’s enjoying a hotpot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is attracting attention as a village focused on regional revitalisation and relocation, and which is surrounded by a beautiful, nature-rich ‘satoyama’ landscape. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing stay surrounded by nature and handcrafted warmth.

③ A 270-year-old house (dormitory) in the quiet mountains of Tottori

Kikori Guesthouse is a 270-year-old renovated old private house in the mountains of Chigata-cho, Tottori Prefecture. The village where our inn is located is selected as a preservation area of traditional buildings in Tottori Prefecture, and it is a tourist spot in Chigucho where you can enjoy the original scenery of the mountain villages of the early Showa period. The main house of the inn is estimated to have been built about 270 years ago (in the middle of the Edo period), and it retains the atmosphere of an old private house in 1960, such as dirt walls, shoji, and a tin roof. In early summer, fresh greenery is beautiful, and it is a cool summer retreat in the middle of summer, and in autumn it is also a famous place to discover autumn leaves. Please come to a hidden place that feels like a step back in time to the old world. The guest house has 3 rooms, but this room will be a Japanese-style room for a dormitory (up to 3 people). From December onwards, it is the season when it starts to snow, and studless tires are required for cars. The living room is warm with a wood-burning stove and a kotatsu, but the only heating in the bedroom is an electric heater. Please take precautions against the cold before going to Yukiguni.
