I can recommend Raquel's place very well: absolutely uncomplicated check-in, rural quiet location, an apartment that is a pleasant size, offers everything you need in terms of equipment and parking on your own property. Porto is easily accessible and also in the nearby and slightly more distant area there is much to discover, e.g. Vila do Conde, the aqueduct that can be admired in Povoa de Varzim on the streets, absolutely worth seeing also the archaeological museum in Terroso, the Cividade de Terroso, an impressive area with archaeological finds from pre-Christian times and also visiting the Parque National Peneda - Geres is worth a trip (e.g. Cascata do Arado).
