Cottage holiday rentals in Trent River

We spent a weekend at Victorias place in Northbrook. Upon arriving we were pleasantly impressed with the property. The house was a great size for our group of seven people. This property checked all the boxes for what we were wanting for our weekend away, enough rooms for everyone, hot tub, pool table and in the woods. We had such a great time we look forward to renting the house again in the future.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful cottage, in a perfect location. Gorgeous and peaceful lake front, with a bon fire spot overlooking it. Everything was nearly brand new (appliances, large tv, hot tub, bbq) Kayaks were great to use to explore the Lake. Friendly general store 5 mins away. Amazing sunset. Foosball. Don’t hesitate.

absolutely picture perfect cottage right on the lake. lots of bedrooms and living room space. couldn't ask for a better view from the hot tub. Heather was provided all the details to ensure check-in was smooth. Everything was organized and labeled so we didn't feel intimidated by the size of the place and was able to feel at home from the 1st day. we didn't bring our kids this time but would love to come back with little ones as there are gates to the deck/hot tub area + everything kids would need already in the house.

Fantastic Family Stay! We had an amazing time at this property. It truly offers something for everyone in the family! The space is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in a breeze. The host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is superb – convenient, yet peaceful, with plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. We loved the area, and it was the perfect place for family bonding. The property itself is stunning, with great attention to detail in its upkeep. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway with their family!

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

Best place I’ve been to in a long time the host was very kind and respectful and responsive. The place was very clean and cozy and felt right at home. We had a little basket with a few items inside which was very kind of the host to do that. There was towels and shower things to use all though we brought our own we thought that was very thoughtful. Everything was just perfect couldn’t have asked for more I don’t even need to explain more the place was just amazing thank you so much for having us we will definitely be coming back

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Leah and Johnny's Guest House is a MUST stay if it is available during a trip to The County or anywhere close by! The location is amazing but the hosts offer such genuine kindness that you immediately feel like family. They went above and beyond with everything! This spot is a little slice of heaven on earth. Well done!

We wanted a quick getaway and fortunately for us, Jeff and Jenns’ cottage was available. The cottage provided us with everything we could have asked for, and more. We hope to return again!

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

It was a really good experience. If you are looking for a place to relax it is the place. I recomend it 100%

We had a fun time at Micheal’s cottage. We liked the fact that we were close to the playground for the children and the pool. They have a lot of activities to do that are included with the reservation, whether you feel like playing mini pot, tennis, paddle board etc) Bonus: it’s less than 15min away from Outlet Beach. The house was spacious enough for our needs. We will be back!

What a great place. Stephen was fantastic and a great communicator. The place was lovely. Bright, comfortable and cozy. We felt at home right away. Loved the outdoor space, the view and the chairs right by the water. The ice had just gone out so we couldn't swim, but we all talked about how great it would be to swim off that dock and use all the water toys. We all agreed it was the perfect getaway. We also all agreed that Stephen has thought of everything - clear instructions, great notices, all the things you need in a kitchen etc. It is clear that he knows what he is doing!

Excellent location for a nice quiet weekend away. Parul was fantastic and her place was beautiful.

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

The Hideaway is a great place to stay and had everything we needed.

Erika and Adam's place had great amenities and everything we needed for a weekend stay. The communication was easy, the place was clean and plenty of outdoor space for our group. This will be a spot we hope to repeat sometime.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

check in instructions are clear and easy to understand. Swift response for any questions asked. Overall a good stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.
