The 1700's 'Mountain Village Studio' in Nohèdes (990m alt.) has been fully restored in 2021 with a contemporary interior design overlooking the village square of Nohèdes with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location with a small terrace ensures a quiet and peaceful setting. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

Its architecture is based on sacred geometry, which gives it a very special energy: inside you feel as anchored as you do elevated.  This form gives off a feeling of fullness, sacredness and celestiality. La Cachette is your small private retreat, hidden, airy in summer, comfortable in winter, with a bird's eye view, perched on the cliff under the castle in an authentic French village known for its wine, lake, walks, bike rides, as well as all the magical attractions that the Fenouillèdes and the Pyrénées-Orientales have to offer. This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

The access is totally independent from my house by a pedestrian path then the Catalan stone steps. The comfortable chalet benefits from a living room of more than 20m2. NEW: there is now a real 140 bed + one quality sofa bed.
