Gite du Rocher 1 – Vercors

Facing the cliffs of Presles and the cave of Choranche, the cottage is a completely independent and open apartment for 2 (or even 4) adults and a child, in this typical old farmhouse, inhabited by the owners. You have a private terrace with exceptional views, and you have free access to the large garden. Within the Regional Park, in a Natura 2000 area, the cottage has direct access to the forest. It is a very good starting point for the breathtaking Hauts Plateaux du Vercors.

Le belvédère - Independent gîte

The cottage is an outbuilding of the house. Rehabilitated in Sept 2019, you can enjoy the garden, swimming pool (subject to authorization and deposit) and a view of madness. From the peaks of the Ardèche to the foothills of the Vercors... All facing south!!!! The cottage is online on several rental platforms and classifieds sites, the calendar is always up to date. Caution: No WIFI, but 5G is present!! June 2025: A bioclimatic pergola has just arrived!! NO PARTIES!

Our spacious and completely renovated apartment will seduce you with its style mixing old and Scandinavian style. In the center of the village of Pont-en-Royans, you will find all amenities a few meters away as well as access to swimming in the Bourne. Hiking lovers will be able to discover the Vercors. For the more athletic, you will find the Presles climbing site, the Villard de Lans ski resorts and the Corrençon golf course a few km away.

We welcome you to a private area renovated in 2023, located on the ground floor of our house, with access to the garden. (New 2025: Add reversible A/C). The house is a 5 min drive from Romans, 12 min from Valence TGV train station, 20 min from Valencia. A bakery is 2 min away, and a large shopping area (with restaurants) is 8 min away. Many walks await you in the Vercors or on the banks of the Isere. Enjoy great weekly rates (-15%).

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy 17 m2 studio where everything has been thought out to make you feel good, small kitchenette, basin and walk-in shower, separate toilet, on the mezzanine floor with a 140 bed, which does not allow standing, and enjoy a small terrace where you can have your meals in an environment surrounded by trees and greenery, studio at the end of the owner's house.

This small 75 m2 house is designed for your downtime, as a couple or with family. Adjoining your host's, the quiet environment is relaxing. In a green setting, close to the center of the village classified as Most Beautiful Village in France (1.5 km), it is pleasant after beautiful hikes, it is ideally located to visit many heritage sites in the region or discover the richness of our local gastronomy.

Located on the plain, facing the Vercors, our large flowery and wooded plot offers you a soothing stopover in a cozy, warm and independent wooden chalet. After renovating our house, we built this cottage using low-impact techniques and materials. Hosting and sharing our quality of life are part of our choices, which is why we offer breakfasts rich in local, organic and homemade products.

Just at the end of the pool, the Orangerie finds its place , facing south, with in front of it the garden cuddled by the light shade of the Tricentenary Olivier! With all the comforts of A/C and heating, a nice little bathroom, a kitchenette, a large friendly studio with a decor mezzanine. The brand new 160 wide sofa bed, from the Sofa House!! Great comfort!
