B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in a characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family, we have transformed the upper building into a B&B. In the 5-meter-high room, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports lessons in the gym, feel free to join in or go monkeying with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play in the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, there is a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it is without breakfast.

Cozy guesthouse/ cottage. The guesthouse is cozy and spacious. The veranda is lovely to sit on. The house has its own private terrace. From the terrace, there is a clear view (of the garden, horse box and meadow). Private use of a private kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Beautifully located in a rural place with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are within walking distance. Supermarket 1.5 km. Schildmeer is 7 km away. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Relax in our new "luxury tiny house"! In lovely Eexterveen on the edge of the Hondsrug, you are really away from it all and everything to go out is close by! In the area, you will find the possibility for many activities such as nature, hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, golf, horseback riding, museum visits, shopping and hospitality visits, cities, cycling and mini golf. De Roode Stee Grolloo (private entrance)

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Torentje van Trips, spending the night in a water tower.

The Torentje van Trips is an old converted watermill. All desired luxury with A label is provided. Here you can see the sun rise and have a fantastic view of the countryside. A lake with beach within walking distance and in the vicinity are several restaurants - entertainment options. The interior is modern while retaining the characteristic elements. Warm atmosphere and coziness. The Torentje van Trips is suitable for couples, families (children) and quiet groups of up to 7 people.

Het Gouden Eiland is located in the annex of a beautiful city villa on the outskirts of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as Het Gouden Eiland, a villa neighborhood with houses built in the period 1910-1930. Het Gouden Eiland is in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seating, kitchen, shower with toilet, king-size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

Berend Bedje is a cosy, detached B&B in Zuidlaren, a great place to relax – after a walk, bike ride, a relaxing weekend, a visit or even a week. The cottage (34 m²) is attractively furnished and suitable for 2–4 people (sofa bed). The cottage has an outdoor seating area at the front. Walk the Pieterpad in 9 minutes or explore De Drentsche Aa National Park. The centre of Groningen can be reached in 19 minutes. Breakfast can be booked for €17.50 p.p. Welcome!
