Stayed here for the second time really enjoyed it. The house is amazing and it's always the perfect space for us to relax.

Needed a quick place to stay by parents house for a funeral. Everything was sold out, so I was happy there was availability on Airbnb. Great communication from the owner.

Check in instructions were easy to follow and the place was very clean.

our stay at Lisa's place was excellent. perfect place for a get away for a few days. Everything we needed was available, or close by. Every morning the super loveable dogs were checking in on us to come hang out on the porch, by the time we left they all kind of adopted us as family. would definitely stay again. Lisa was awesome too, giving us a tour of the barn, and introducing us to all of her other four legged family members

This was the perfect place for our large family! With two teenagers, fur babies, and my mom with us, the two separate houses made for the perfect stay. Aubrey was EXTREMELY helpful and if anything came up, she was responsive and handled everything quickly. This was an extremely stressful transition for our family but this air b&b made for the most peaceful stay while we combatted the stresses of moving across the country. Neighbors (though few and far between) are super kind and give that “welcome to the area” vibe! This is an old historical home that has cozy comfort needed for the escape we all want! Huge thanks to Aubrey for being so responsive and flexible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wow, where do I start. If you are looking for an amazing place to stay with an amazing host, look no further. First off the house is amazing, very unique with a cool setup and just feels peaceful. This house was great as a relaxing get away for my wife and I and our pup on our baby moon. This house is also very spacious and plenty of room for a much larger group or families and is right by the lake with great views, it has kayaks and plenty of room for your pets to play in a safe and quiet environment. Has some good fishing spots that you can pull up to in your vehicle or even just walk too. The host Chase was by far accommodating and very persistent on making you feel right at home and making sure you have everything you need. Very responsive as well as making sure we had a great time and very good instructions on check-in and checkout. Also had very good recommendations on places to eat nearby as well as fun things to do. Would recommend this place to anyone and will return for sure!

Perfect place for us!! Spent 3 nights and enjoyed Gran's House very much. Everything was clean and well appointed. It was definitely "home" for a few nights.

Great stay. Clean and very spacious. Perfect for a busy family & pets. The kids loved having their own room and beds. The bedrooms had more than enough space for two dog beds. Beautiful and spacious yard for the dogs to run around in. Definitely recommend!

Lisa's lake rental was exactly as described and so much more. The house is the prefect getaway in a quiet beautiful setting. Lisa is the perfect host and her house is decorated beautifully. We highly recommend staying here, it will not disappoint!

House was great with nice amenities! Perfect location, and heated pool was a plus! We will definitely be recommending this place to friends!

Thank you for welcoming us into your home. Everything was perfect and when we needed any help Laura was right there to answer any questions. There was ample space for everyone and my twins enjoyed being able to go upstairs to watch movies or play in the yard. It felt like a home away from home. Thank you!

Sam's Place was more than expected! We felt safe, comfortable and very welcome in his home. We could not picked a better home to stay in for our trip. Beautiful and clean. Peaceful and homey. Although we didn't need much more than we brought - There was plenty of extra available of items like paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, spices, etc. We slept wonderfully on the beds and very much enjoyed our time in the enclosed patio. We could hear the birds and enjoy the cool breeze in the evening. Sam's Place will always be at the top of our list for our next trip back to this area.

First of all the house was large enough for our needs. My parents live close by, but have a small house and we had our family, my sister's family, and parents to accommodate for Christmas. Our adult children came with boyfriends and girlfriends, so the group grew exponentially. I did not realize the house sits on a wedding venue, but it was perfect for us. We were able to sit everyone around the dining room table. Living room was spacious and comfortable. (Bonus) The Barn was beautiful, the chapel and game room were also great and a lake to fish in, awesome. I was able to bring my dogs, and they actually have real kennels on the property. The pool area is fenced, house has tile and hard wood floors, all essential. Angela was a great host, she responded quickly, provided information, even tried to help us locate some tamales. Gave us the tour of the venue and made sure we knew where everything was. Fantastic stay, would definitely do it again in two years.

We found ourselves needing a place late on Friday evening and Ann made it happen. We love that it was gated, private, and beautiful. My husband rarely sleeps in especially in a new place. He slept like a baby and commented that he would like to come back to this place. He is a student and used the place to study while i visited grandchildren, and then he joined us later. It provided us a great place for downtime during a very busy weekend.

Bonnie was incredibly sweet and helpful. We had an absolute blast. There was 7 huge dead fish floating by the dock because of the weather that came (Tornado), but that is not the Hosts fault. We caught tons of different fish varieties and we slept great there too which is uncommon for us! The dock is huge with plenty of space to fish, however the ramp to get to the dock has fallen making it unsafe for anyone with mobility issues. The ground from beneath washed away so the ramp needs to be redone which Bonnie plans to do asap. Overall we would definitely recommend! Easy hosts to work with, very helpful and kind.

This was a great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The house was both clean and beautiful. We did plenty of boating and fishing all weekend, and we honestly lost count of all the fish we caught and released. There were also hiking trails we explored while enjoying nature. Chris was a spectacular host and so accommodating. We will definitely be back again.

Good location for Trade Days, nice and quiet place to stay when coming to town the rest of the month.

This was my first time in East TX for work and I was pleased with the home locations well as the surroundings. The home itself is great! Nice and clean, peaceful and just the right amount of space. To top it off Kaylee is an amazing host and communicated throughout my stay. I will definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend this home!

Such a well thought out place. Great mixture of rustic charm and modern amenities. My only regret was not having more time to enjoy it.

Honey’s Hideout was a perfect place for my partner and I to stay for my brother’s wedding weekend! The house was cute and charming, the hostess was friendly and responsive, and the instructions for everything were very clear. We were glad to have arrived during the day, as the landmarks are definitely harder to see at night. A few things that may impact your stay: 1. The sliding door going into the bedroom slides back open on its own. I used my shoes to hold it shut, because open doors freak me out haha! 2. The front door doesn’t have a curtain on its window, so although you are out in the country, anybody can look in and see you. As a young woman I prefer privacy, so I stayed in the room at night time to avoid the window. 3. There’s not a tv. I don’t recall if that’s in the listing, and it wasn’t a big deal for us, but maybe it is for you! 4. There were a whole slew of gunshots in the near distance the next morning (not early, more like mid-morning, but still worth being aware of)
