“Going to the end of the world to relax in a nest called “UNAKANDA” perched in the jungle of Sri Lanka Southern Province, is a haven of peace and beauty to discover. This pretty house with all the comfort assures you a tranquility near an overflowing swimming pool overhanging the sea on the horizon, without forgetting the tasty dishes which are served to you by THI and SUJEEVA rivaling the local restaurants by their flavor. The discovery of this magnificent country with the help of MANOJ, THI and SUJEEVA to guide you in your stay, is very reassuring. Many thanks to SHAR and TIM, supported by the kindness and dedication of MANOJ, THI and SUJEEVA who made us discover their beautiful region. Three Marseillais on holiday.”

“We stayed in Sunil's Villa for 4 nights and the stay with him was absolutely fantastic! Everything went like clockwork ... Sunil organized an airport transfer for us and after about 2 hours we arrived at the accommodation. The villa is an oasis and corresponded exactly to the pictures in the Airbnb. Sunil and his team do a great job and are super helpful! We were with the whole family (2 children 11 and 3 years) and also enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the pool ... If you like it stylish, there is a new, stylish beach club on the beach 50m and if you walk about 200m on the beach in the other direction (or a tuktuk at high tide) you will come to Dalawela Beach, where you can swim with turtles. Great beach for the whole family! All in all a great start to our Sri Lanka vacation ...”
Silva Tree-house is a peaceful, secluded tree-house on the Rumasalla headland between Galle and Unawatuna Beach, on the South Coast of Sri Lanka. It's quiet and private, and only a few minutes from the beach at Unawatuna and the Galle Fort. The house is a steel and glass tower that rises above the canopy of the trees. Three bedrooms on the first floor are within the trees, keeping them cool and shaded. The top floor is above the canopy and is a single, glass-sided hall with sofas and kitchen and a balcony that looks over jungle to the sea. We have a new pool which lies beside the house and sits between the trees, with their branches providing shade. The house is rented on a bed and breakfast basis. Mrs Ira, the manager who lives next door, is a great cook and can provide any other meals you require. She's also an ayevedic masseuse and completely reliable baby-sitter. We can arrange airport collections and tours for you. If there are less people our rates come down.
“We had a wonderful four nights in the Silva Tree House - it’s magical to be surrounded by the jungle and looking out over the canopy, but close enough to the beach and the wonderful Galle Fort for dinners out. The space is amazing - true indoor/outdoor living! We thoroughly appreciated the cool of the fantastic pool, especially during the heat of the day when it gets hot upstairs and when the beach was busier than usual due to a national holiday. The kitchen is basic but has everything you need. Vincent and all the staff there couldn’t have been more helpful and were always on hand to make our stay easy and relaxing. You’re never alone, but the watchman Nial is super friendly, helpful and keeps out of your way whilst providing reassurance. Mrs Ira and Ms Inoka’s cooking is better than any hotel we stayed in - we recommend their tasty dinners as well! It was also great to have someone on hand to take you out on short trips by tuk tuk (Mr Kumara was quick to respond and nice to talk to). We would highly recommend this place - a truly unique experience - and hope to return one day!”
