Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

Our intimate 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is perfectly sized for a couples retreat or family vacation to the Conde Nast award-winning resort. Bedroom 1 includes a king size bed and bedroom 2 a queen size bed. The living area is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen features quality appliances and granite countertops. Cooking ware, dishes, and utensils provided.

The Millstream Chalet

Come relax at our unique little wooden house; an oasis right in the city. The Millstream Chalet is situated directly on a creek that comes fresh from the mountains. Get out of the city and runaway to the mountains for an unforgettable experience! This beautiful, secluded 2-acre escape is situated at 8,000 feet and hidden by a mature grove of aspens. Accessible only by 4x4/AWD (snow chains required Oct-May), the 1,000 square foot cozy cabin features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a suspended hammock floor, full kitchen, cozy fireplace, and deck. Be prepared for an isolated getaway with breathtaking views of the Uintas that are nothing short of spectacular!
