Saunan löylyjä kehuttu, samoin viihtyisää grillikotaa. Kesällä vesi pumpulla kaivosta. Talvella kantovesi joesta. Mökin lämmittämiseksi on osattava käyttää takkaa ja kaminaa. Sähköllä lämpiävä 36 neliön hirsimökki sijaitsee subarktisen Kevojärven rannalla satoja vuosia vanhan mäntymetsän keskellä puron varressa. Sekä purossa että järvessä on juomakelpoinen vesi. Paikka sijaitsee kahden Suomen suurimman erämaan välissä, kuitenkin vain 100 metrin päässä Valtatie 4:stä, ja rajoittuu suoraan valtion maihin. Mökki soveltuu hyvin toisaalta lepäämiseen ja rauhoittumiseen luonnon keskellä ja toisaalta eräretkien tukikohdaksi.
