Holiday rentals with a sauna in Val d'Aran

We had a great stay. The apartment is very quiet, beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. The bedding is quality and the location is easy to access. Free parking nearby makes parking and unloading very easy. There are many shops close to the residence (bakery, supermarket, local products) that provide valuable services. Thanks to Cathy and her husband for hosting us and for their kindness!

The stay went very well. Communication with Eric in advance, and with Julie who manages on site, was very fluid. We liked the accommodation, it is well appointed and very well-equipped. And we were delighted to be able to use the sauna in the residence! We would not hesitate to go back!

We had a great weekend in the romantic duo. We had a lot of small and big touches that perfected this stay. Franz and Carole are responsive hosts even remotely from the accommodation. Very good location, 5 minutes from the club piou piou, perfect for taking our 3-year-old child to classes every morning, accompanied by our 14-month-old baby. Perfect accommodation for a pleasant stay in Arreau. Everything is very tidy and organized. The accommodation is very clean and the residence very quiet. Walking access to the village is a plus.

Responsive and considerate host, everything is well organized and thoughtful. The apartment is perfect for 7-8 people with enough space and privacy. The large covered terrace should be very nice in summer. The equipment is complete and perfect, like the lliterie. There is even a small room to store ski equipment in peace and space to park nearby. Perfect stay.

How does one find enough superlatives to describe a phenomenal Airbnb experience? When I chose this rental, I didn’t quite understand that it’s what Americans call a Mother-in-law apartment. Completely private and autonomous yet connected to the hosts’ large home. The apartment overlooks the hosts’ small family farm. Chickens, geese, sheep, vegetables, and flowers and trees galore. Renowned architect Maurice Sauzet designed the structure. Americans will think of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wonderful. Inside you enjoy the ingenuity and dedication to top quality materials, construction, appliances, functionality and beauty. Plenty of storage. Zero clutter. Super-comfortable bed. I spent hours on the patio looking out over the trees and livestock to the snow-capped Pyrénées. Walks up the street to the top of the hill. Star-gazing at night. Discovering the rich history of the region. Please only rent this Airbnb if you’ll respect and appreciate the best in lodging and human kindness!
