Ideal for nature-lovers or those who simply want to just get away to relax and breathe in the Swiss mountain air. The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

Located 2 km from the A12 Fribourg-Nord highway exit, CFF train station 12 minutes by bus and 20 minutes on foot. Shopping centers 300 m away (Migros, Coop, and Mediamarkt) Coop Restaurant open until 7 p.m. Mon-Tue-Wed-Fri and until 9 p.m. Thurs, Sat until 4 p.m. Bus line 1 (Portes de Fribourg-Marly Gérine) 300 m to the city center.

Many hikes are possible from the chalet, such as the Mont Biffé, or the Tour du Lac de Montsalvens. Our fully equipped chalet is perfect for a couple or a family: wifi, TV, fitted kitchen.

We built this little house for ourselves with love. It is close to our home, but it has an unobstructed view and preserves your privacy. You will feel right at home. We dream while looking at the view, the sun's path, on one of the terraces or by the fireplace. To disconnect, discover the Gruyère, isolate yourself for teleworking, escape as a couple... The hardest part is leaving. In JULY and AUGUST, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. 😊

In addition to the hosts, friendly dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and chickens live on the Bühlmenschwand farm. From here you can enjoy beautiful walks through the adjacent woods and meadows, or further discover the Emmental by car or bike.
