Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Val-de-Ruz

We stayed in Leymen for one night. We were able to enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening. Breakfast ( with homemade products was also fine. Marie-France is a warm hostess.

Charming alpine dwelling, once-hotel, located in an undisturbed valley in the pre-alps of the canton of Fribourg. I found the communication sympathetic and effective between the hosts and I -- having booked the very day of the stay. Would recommend for any one wishing to truly wander in the region, staying the night after a cultural visit nearby or after an enlivening hike ending before dawn. Merci beaucoup!

I was there for New years and eventhough all the restaurants were fully booked we were able to order some food. Everything was very clean, the house is very safe, and being on the second floor, it feels relatively private! You get keys to close your door as well as house keys 👍🏼. Better to have a car but accessible through bus and 10min walk from the bus stop! Would go again to enjoy Charmey les bains

great stay in a nice location. very quiet and a nice village. Unfortunately, due to my husband's illness, we had to end our stay early but I can highly recommend it.

This place is such a gem. What an adorable b&b with tasty breakfast and amazing hosts plus two adorable pugs! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was small but well stocked. A little stuffy in the warm summer but you will struggle to find any places with AC. Definitely will come back to Basel and stay here again!

I want to thank Audrey very warmly for hosting us! We felt like we were hosted by the whole family! The shared meal was excellent. They are very nice people and we will definitely and happily stay in this inn again!

Simple but functional room, quite small. For one night on a bike tour tiptop. It has everything you need. Cozy Zmorge, you feel very welcome. Restaurant tip: Hotel Diana near Ried (10 min walk), above-average food and drink offer and - if you are lucky - spontaneous iodine inserts of other guests ...

I had a pleasant three day stay at this property. The host was extremely friendly, accommodating and easily accessible, which made my stay very pleasant. The property is located in a quiet residential area and the train station is easily accessible in about a 10-minute walk. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

The most pleasant experience I can remember having! Wonderful cozy breakfast area. Friendly people. Peaceful area. Margrit is a delight, very compassionate and very attentive to needs. Was confused about the bed that was different than the photo. Was a bunkbed but I got well needed sleep. It was raining morning I was to leave on my motorcycle and Margrit gave me a rain cover. But, magically it cleared up and the rest of the day was beautiful.

Great stay with Jessica and her family. A welcome full of small touches (for young and old). It's beautiful in the photo but even better on site. The fruit house and the walk around the source la Loue right next door. We recommend it!

I can’t say enough good things about Mireille’s place. It was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The bedroom was large with an extremely comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated. The village is in a beautiful location. There are a lot of places to walk in the area and Fribourg is very nearby and a nice day trip. But the best part was our host, Mireille. She is a delightful lady, friendly, responsive, and she made us feel right at home. The breakfast she made us each morning was amazing. Most things homemade. We hope to be able to return and spend more time there.

The room was impeccable. Christelle is very welcoming and offers evening meal for walkers. We were able to chat well. This is an Airbnb where the word meets is important. I would definitely recommend it for walkers.

The beds are very comfortable, it is pleasantly quiet for sleeping. the breakfast is exceptional, with louder homemade and local products. we felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. thank you so much for the extraordinary hospitality.

Heidi's place suited me very well and I preferred staying in this small town than in Basel city. The tram is very nearby and Heidi arranged a free travel pass for me. Everything was very clean and Heidi is a lovely, helpful person who was very flexible. Having breakfast included was a lovely extra. About 20 minutes walk from the house you can get out into fields and a forest which I enjoyed. A supermarket is very nearby. I didn't try the restaurants preferring to go by tram into Basel for more variety.

A charming original independent room with massage jets shower and a comfortable bed, complimentary tassimo coffee and microwave available. Marie Laure is a very friendly host who will welcome you generously!

What a great host! So easy to communicate with, and feels like Home. Maja is lovely old grandma who can communicate with you freely. Would definitely visit again. Thank you so much!

This place was amazing. 🥹 Everything is done in detail to make you feel good. ☺️ Shower gel, cotton, makeup remover cream, bathrobe. The 3-seater sauna is next to the bathroom. This allows you to take a cold shower right after. The beds are large and very comfortable. Very clean linens. Breakfast and meals offered are worthy of the best hotels. Cereals, yogurts, salmon, homemade smoked charcuterie, jam and homemade compote. The cottage at the bottom of the house where Thierry prepares the meal over a wood fire is very original and friendly. We will definitely be back at Thierry's in other circumstances to visit the area.

Dominique is very responsive to respond, it's very pleasant. i recommend this place, great location in this beautiful area.

Mathias is a very nice, smiling and attentive host. You can go there without fear! It will give you clear directions, in addition the accommodation is located in the city center and therefore everything is within walking distance.
