A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

The apartment is located at the top of Skaret on Valderøya just outside Ålesund with panoramic views of the shipping line long coast. 10-15 minutes drive to the center of Ålesund, about 10 min to the airport. Hiking opportunities just outside the door of the mountain Signal with views in all directions, or to the other islands Godøya, Giske or Vigra. At Alnes, located on Godøya, there is an art gallery/cafe with a view into the sea. Short distance to all the sights of Ålesund and Sunnmørsfjellene with all their hiking opportunities.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor. It is newly renovated in 2024 and is consistently bright and modern. To the south you have a lovely roof terrace with good sun conditions and great sea views. The kitchen has what you need, as well as a wine cabinet. The living room is airy and modern, with a round dining table seating 4 people. The master bedroom has a 180 bed, TV on the wall and walk-in. The guest room has a 150bed and a wardrobe. In the bathroom it is bright with combined washing machine/dryer.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Still only 20 min drive to the center of Ålesund. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, solo travelers, travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). Electric scooter can also be used. Our great cabin by the sea, is only a short drive away from beautiful Ålesund. The area offers a mix of nature experiences, culture and history- making it a fantastic destination! It has all the comforts you need for a comfortable stay. Here you can enjoy the sunrise that mirrors in the sea in the morning and in the evening you can watch the stars while relaxing in the jacuzzi. If you are extra lucky, you can also experience the northern lights dancing across the sky. In other words; new!

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Just a stone's throw away you will find the popular Brosundet, and you are within walking distance of all the city's restaurants and other attractions. The apartment belongs to a part of our unique city villa, with a separate entrance. We are an adult couple living here, which makes the rental part a peaceful apartment with a quiet atmosphere.
