Our house is in the family for more than 5 generations. Located next to the old train station of Vimieiro now deactivated, it's an example of the vernacular architecture from Alentejo, with large chimneys and white washed walls. The house is very close to the main cities and villages from central Alentejo, such as Evoramonte, Arraiolos, Estremoz and Évora. Only one hour and half from Lisbon, it's the perfect retreat to discover Alentejo wineries and enjoy the Portuguese countryside.

Family house in the heart of the Serra de São Mamede at Quinta do Barrieiro, ideal for a couple with two small children. The house has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a bunk bed for two children (1.6 under bed and 1.8 the topper bed), a living room with kitchen and independent entrance. Cozy country house, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

My place is close to Portalegre, Marvão and Castelo de Vide. You'll love it because it's quiet, ideal for resting, and strolling through the Serra. Discover the Apartadura Dam and enjoy the silence At night, contemplate the starry sky as it is not seen in the city and try to identify the constellations. The croaking of the frogs keeps you company.

Quinta das Sesmarias

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
