The Cima la Terra studio apartment is located in the highest part of the village and can be reached by walking along the main street La Gassa, which consists of wide steps. From the terrace you can enjoy the panoramic view of the typical gneiss roofs of the Walser houses of Campello Monti and the surrounding peaks. You will be impressed by the quiet and the sounds of nature that surround you. In the carefully furnished studio, you will feel at home.

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The village of Montescheno offers the charm of the mountains (700 m), an enviable sunny position and at the same time proximity to the town of Domodossola and the Alpine lakes. Villa Alba presents itself with spacious and bright rooms, a panoramic view of the mountains and at the same time the relaxation of a Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi. The outdoor spaces are very pleasant and usable: veranda with sofa and armchairs, large balcony, garden, pergola with table and benches.

Relax in beautiful and scenic Italy. Our humble studio apartment offers expansive views of Lago Maggiore and mountains. The area is quiet and peaceful. Private lake access is a 10 minute walk. If you'd like to walk to Stresa, we recommend first driving 3 minutes and starting up the hill (23 min total / avoids steps). Please note: You will have to walk through our upstairs living room (8m distance total) while we wait for approvals to build external stairs.

The house is surrounded by nature, reachable only on foot 300 meters from the parking lot, but very close to the lake and the village that offers art and culture, beautiful panoramic views, restaurants and beach. You'll love it for the tranquility and vastness of the spaces, the views towards the lake and mountains, the intimacy, the exposed ceiling, the comfort, the large lawn around. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Riverside retreat in the Alps

Experience a luminous apartment in a unique setting, where wilderness meets comfort with close parking and Wi-Fi. 'Riverside retreat' isn't for a place everybody. To get the most out of it you must enjoy simple things: having breakfast in your own garden, popping down to the crystal clear torrent to have a cold dip, admiring the wildlife that you may spot from your panoramic windows or going for long walks into the unspoiled surrounding nature.

The apartment has all the features to make your stay pleasant: it is very comfortable, bright, well-kept, well-furnished, clean. Its strong point is certainly the terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and the islands.
