Chris’s place is a great staycation idea, the house is fully equipped with latest technology, the wireless charging is a great addition, the kitchen is well equipped and everything comes jn handy, it is right on the River, great for pictures, stunning pool and spacious entertainment area

The place was beautiful and exactly what we needed to end off the year. The unit was remote and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The house is well laid out and spacious. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and the lady who helped clean and tidy everyday went above and beyond.

What a stunning place. It is way better than what has been depicted from the description and photos. I only wish we could have stayed longer

The place was exceptionally relaxing and clean. Very good for a getaway relaxing break. Mari and the lady who manages the place were very attentive and non obtrusive. The house was cleaned and prepared daily. Would definitely recommend. We had a lovely time

We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

WHAT A SPOT! My family and I had an absolute blast of a reunion here, with awesome weather the first day we lazed in the sun around the pools, cooked pizza in the pizza oven and played some volleyball, with the second day we entertained ourselves with pool and table tennis and had a massive braai on the gas and some charcoal in the Webers. Theresa helped us clean and kept us entertained and stocked with anything we needed! The beds were AMAZING and most of the rooms had a beautiful view of the dam. We would definitely be back, only word of warning is the low cellphone signal and the roads are very difficult to navigate in cars that are not 4X4 especially in periods of lots of rain.

We had an excellent stay! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Everything went smoothly, and the host was truly amazing and attentive. This was my second time staying at this property, and once again, it exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Mr Arai

This was our second visit to Frans place and it was as if we returned to family. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. Wonderful venue with a perfect on site hosted, Jane. The place was perfect for a boys weekend away, and the cold front did not cause a problem. The house is comfortable with all facilities to make your stay perfect.
