Welcome to our little house located in Varzy, a pretty village in Nivernais. The house is on the compostelle path, close to the city center, close to shops, bakery, tobacco, and restaurants. The surrounding area offers lovely walks. On the ground floor:1 living room open to the kitchen, 1 toilet. Upstairs:1 landing room with a clic clac, 1 bathroom with bath, 1 bedroom with 140 bed + 2 nd bedroom in mezzanine bed 140. Enclosed courtyard. Parking place is available in front of the house.

Nestled in the heart of the village in the heart of the Nièvre countryside, our cottage offers you tranquility, walks to Mount Lidou and a south-facing terrace with a gentle and green view of the valley. You can enjoy a cold drink and breathe the invigorating air. You enter the kitchen and dining room on the ground floor, then bathroom, toilet on the left, and living room plus bedroom on the right. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one of which receives the morning sun and the other the sunset.

This quiet apartment located on the 1st floor without elevator offers a small enclosed green space. You will be staying in the heart of the Nièvre countryside, close to the Morvan, the Canal du Nivernais, the Étangs de Baye et des Settons and Vézelay. You can also enjoy lovely walks from the property into the surrounding countryside (Moulin Naudin pond, Sacré-Cœur site, St Lazare chapel, Auguste Grasset museum), close to the Pouilly and Sancerre vineyards. Comfortable cottage 2 hours from Paris, south of Puisaye and 20 minutes from the medieval site of Guédelon, the castle of St Fargeau and its historical shows, the Colette museum in St-Sauveur as well as the vineyards of Pouilly, Sancerre, Ménetou-salon, It is in a hamlet near the village of Perroy, 5 km from Donzy and its shops and 20 km from Cosne-sur-Loire that we have set up this independent cottage, with its private garden in an old farmhouse of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Gîte du Lavoir, Varzy-Nièvre.

The gîte du lavoir, in the heart of the village of Varzy, a village nestled in the heart of hills and forests, is a small, secure, independent old house, conducive to calm and hiking. An enclosed lot, allows the parking of a vehicle. On site: local shops, nursing home, pharmacy. Museum. The gîte is 2.5 hours from Paris, close to the Nivernais Canal, 1 hour from the Loire Valley, Morvan, Vézelay and Guédelon. Weekly rental in July-August.

Isabelle and Denis welcome you to this old farmhouse restored to the taste of the day in the heart of a quiet village typical of Nièvre. This old house is elevated, offering you an unobstructed view of the countryside. It is an excellent place to stay to discover the Morvan Regional Park, Vézelay, Guedelon and the Nivernais Canal, through different types of museums. Only two animals are allowed per reservation.
