This property offers a stay for the whole family. On the way to Santiago de Compostela, in the center of Varzy, you will find the shops of basic necessities, bakery, tobacco, supermarket, pharmacy as well as a pond. Take a break and unwind in this peaceful little corner at the gateway to Morvan. Nature lovers, you will be won over. Located close to the Chablisien vineyards, castles such as Bazoches/Ratilly/Chastellux or Guédelon, and the caves of Arcy. Private enclosed house, with one bedroom, possibility to add a baby bed on request. Linens provided (sheet, bath towels, tea towel). Fully equipped kitchen. Animals such as dogs and cats only accepted and 2 maximum.

Need a break for two? Head to Burgundy, 1.5 hours from Paris. Our cabin with private spa will allow you to recharge your batteries in the countryside. A few kilometers from Toucy and its market but also not far from Auxerre, the medieval site of Guedelon or the Château de St-Fargeau, it is the perfect place to disconnect for a weekend or more. Gîte du Lavoir, Varzy-Nièvre.

The gîte du lavoir, in the heart of the village of Varzy, a village nestled in the heart of hills and forests, is a small, secure, independent old house, conducive to calm and hiking. An enclosed lot, allows the parking of a vehicle. On site: local shops, nursing home, pharmacy. Museum. The gîte is 2.5 hours from Paris, close to the Nivernais Canal, 1 hour from the Loire Valley, Morvan, Vézelay and Guédelon. Weekly rental in July-August.

Country cottage

Isabelle and Denis welcome you to this old farmhouse restored to the taste of the day in the heart of a quiet village typical of Nièvre. This old house is elevated, offering you an unobstructed view of the countryside. It is an excellent place to stay to discover the Morvan Regional Park, Vézelay, Guedelon and the Nivernais Canal, through different types of museums. Only two animals are allowed per reservation.

Cottage by the water and horses

On a private property of more than 3 ha, including our house and a small stable, the 35 m2 cottage is directly on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a shower room, an equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with two 90 beds. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.

The tank

Apartment (a slightly steep staircase will take you to the 1st floor) large room with 1 double bed, (folding bed) 1 TV, Wi-Fi, kitchenette (dishes, coffee maker, microwave, electric hob. Bathroom, toilet all shops nearby. The parking lot is 20 meters behind a small monument that is to the right of the apartment. (No teleworking). Very busy road. No air conditioning.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, tobacco cafes...) At the gates of Morvan, close to the RN151, on the road to Santiago de Compostela, 50 minutes from Guédelon, 40 minutes from Vézelay and a 5-minute walk from Varzy Castle... Ideal for fishermen, hikers, mountain bikers...

The Foreman's House

The Domaine des Carriers is a former limestone quarry whose old houses and outbuildings have been renovated into charming gîtes and guest rooms. This space, a true haven of peace and history, is located 5 minutes by car from Clamecy, 46 minutes from Auxerre and 2h35 from Paris. INFORMATION: There are dogs running loose on the estate.
