In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. (This accommodation has not been adapted for people with disabilities of any kind.)

Studio Jeanne d'Arc at the foot of the Chateau

You'll be staying at the foot of the Royal Fortress of Chinon. Located in the heart of Chinon's medieval old town, our studio is a clean, bright, quiet place on the ground floor looking out onto a flowered garden where you can relax during your stay. Menet is a castle built in the 12th century on the right bank of the Tardoire, close to the friendly and lively village of Montbron. This family home is classified as a Historic Monument, and has been the subject of a major renovation project. The location of the castle is exceptional, surrounded by nature, overlooking the Tardoire River and an old mill. A very large south-facing terrace allows you to enjoy this view.
