Holiday rentals with a patio in Vex

My family of 4 had a lovely stay. Was the perfect place to spend a few days seeing the sights in and around Montreux and just relaxing. My daughters appreciated each having her own comfortable bed after having to share pull-out couches in hotels. We loved being able to prepare our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Nice laundry room in the apartment as well. Loved the convenience of having the additional toilet as well as the full bathroom. Perfect stay!

An amazing weekend getaway in the mountains. Fantastic layout inside, cozy fireplace and stunning view from the yard / breakfast nook area. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful location would be happy to visit again

Exceptional rental! From the spacious and clean entrance, very easy and well-described procedure. A large garage, wide and high spaces (ski box on the roof of the car). The apartment is beautiful. Tastefully decorated and high-end furniture. Very complete equipment. The bedding is very comfortable, the 2 bathrooms are a plus. A balcony on the bedroom side in the sun in the morning, and a large balcony on the living room side in the sun in the afternoon :-) The residence's amenities are ultra complete, with the gym, sauna, laundry room, ... Everything is spacious and at no time would you feel cramped. The neighborhood is very quiet. Less than 100 meters from the train to go to the slopes (or go/return from the village). You can also reach the village center by walking along a quiet path (10-15 minutes). I could live in this apartment all year round with pleasure! And thank you for the chocolate on arrival ;-)

+ Very easy check in and out + Had everything you can think of.. and even more! + Kitchen was complete and had equipment for traditional swiss food, pots, pans, etc. + The big rooms and bathrooms were modern and the smaller rooms had the traditional swiss chalet style + Bedcovers, linen, towels were provided + Complimentary nespresso capsules - Parking can only be around 2 cars in front of the location. - Dining table did not fit our group but we used the table from the balcony as a solution Thank you for the easy and smooth rental!

Well appointed apartment with incredible views of the Matterhorn. Ski lockers available but we kept our gear at the rental shop in town as we weren't confident on the ski-in ski-out slopes from the Cielo Alto lift. We loved our stay and would return! If Cervinia closes the lifts because of wind (as it did one day during our trip) we can recommend driving to Aosta and taking the gondola to the Pila resort instead!

Great extended weekend in this wonderful cottage. Very well equipped, beautiful view and ideal communication with Erika, who was very accommodating. We will be back!

Great place, cozy house. Everything worked perfectly

From the moment we booked to the time we left, Claudia was extremely responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us with ideas for our stay and made us feel welcome from the start. The house is exactly as pictured, but the pictures don't do the view justice. It is just breathtaking. The automatic shades open in the morning and reveal the mountains for you to admire while drinking your cup of coffee in bed. Overall, I highly recommend Claudia's home for its convenience to the train, the views, and the high-end amenities that make the home very comfortable.

A stay at a this cozy Verbier ski chalet is made even better by a super friendly host. Beyond the beautiful views and cozy atmosphere, the warm hospitality truly elevates the experience. Everything is also walkable distance…. Its just a memorable ski getaway.

We had a great week of family skiing vacation at Marc's cottage. The location is great with its unobstructed view in the center of Grimentz and walking distance from the ski lifts. The cottage is very comfortable and very nice, it matches the description. Marc welcomed us himself, which we particularly appreciated. We recommend this cottage and thank Marc for hosting us.

We stayed at Alessandro's place in March 2025 and had an amazing stay. The location in Furi right next to the gondola is incredible for groups prioritizing skiing over proximity to the town. We also discovered that we much prefer this side of the ski mountain versus Sunnega so this was a home run as well. If we stayed over on the Sunnega side of town it would have taken us 90 mins each day to ski over to the Furi side. The one hiccup is that the gondola from Zermatt to Furi runs 8:30am- 5:30pm and if you are outside that window it costs 120 francs for an electric taxi to the chalet. We didn't realize this at first-- 120 francs for a 20 minute taxi ride is insane but even after figuring out the travel details we would choose to stay in Furi again. We loved making dinner at the chalet and playing cards in the evening. If you're there to focus on skiing and spend some quiet time in the evenings then you cannot go wrong!

Catrine’s house was a delight to stay in. The magnificent views onto the Lake and Mountains were breathtaking. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Would definitely come back here if I visit Montreux again.

The place is exactly as described and depicted. It has everything. We (10 adults plus few kids) had a perfect ski week! The funiculaire is a cheat! Provided that you can ski a red slope, otherwise (for the kid's lessons for instance we had to walk or take the bus to the main télécabine a few hundred meters further down). The jacuzzi was a beautiful addition after a tiring day in the snow. Only things to note, the salon could have been bigger but most importantly, the small road that led to the few neighbouring chalets (including this one) could have been salted to avoid the ice! Other than that, the village is very small and friendly, has nice slopes to play and one can access Verbier very easily for more... Overall, we do recommend it and we would definitely go back.

What a find! Without a doubt my new favourite place in the Alps. It is absolutely beautiful, Taline has decorated the space with incredible taste, if I could get her to decorate my own house I would! The living space is ideal, with different seating areas meaning you can be together or enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and everything was spotless and felt brand new. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. In short, it was perfect. I can’t wait to stay again!

We enjoyed the time in the apartment and bungalow very much. The views are fantastic and the sun terrace keeps what it promises. The kitchen includes everything you need. We felt at home and enjoyed the tranquility very much.

Barbara was a brilliant host. Her apartment had everything you could want. She even left an easter egg for our son and when I asked her about buying a sledge she had one at our door in 20 mins!!! Best ever customer service. The apartment has a great view "of the mountains", is very close to the main gondola and a five min walk from the main pedestrian street.

Such a lovely apartment in a beautiful location. The views from the balcony made us want to just sit and enjoy rather than go out and explore. We wished we would have stayed longer than the two nights that we did. We didn't explore the town other than discovering a little park a 10-15 minute walk away. It overlooked the town and we enjoyed the fire pit with the supplied wood for grilling our supper. (that was at the park) The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of supplies as well as spices. Having Coop just steps away was very handy as well. Just be mindful of the closing times:) I highly recommend this place. The host was very easy to work with.

I’d like to say it was a home away from home, but rather it’s a place I would love to call home. Carina and Alex instantly made us feel like friends and family! The home was easy to access from town, and you get a free guest bus pass making everything very accessible. The space itself has everything you need including plenty of room to spread out, organize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. We cooked our meals in the spacious kitchen, enjoyed sitting on the patio and adoring their gardens and flowers, and rested our tired bodies in the comfortable bed to rest at night. We greatly enjoyed interacting with Carina and Alex during our stay and truly do hope to come back and explore more of Kandersteg and the surrounding mountains. We will work tirelessly to get our legs more prepared for the next trek! Thank you, Carina and Alex!

We had an amazing time in this apartment. Easy to find with convenient parking and simple access. The owners were always quick to respond and super friendly. The apartment is basic but immaculately clean and well equipped, even down to the dishwasher tablets, toilets rolls etc. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and we enjoyed our morning coffees watching the sunrise and evening tipple catching the afternoon sun. You can walk into town for skiing or meals out in 15 minutes or so, the walk back is uphill though so a good workout! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Leysin!

Apartment is very comfortable and had everything I needed to cook a complete meal. Bed was so comfortable. Good spot at the bottom of the village, perfect for a long walk up the mountain, with the easy descent on my way back!

Wow – what an incredible stay! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Rossella is an outstanding host – warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive at all times of the day. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The apartment itself was spotless and so comfortable – even better than the photos! There were so many lovely personal touches that made it feel really special. The hamper of Italian snacks and wine was such a thoughtful and generous surprise – we felt instantly at home. The location is also super convenient, with everything you could possibly need just a short walk away. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
