Veldean and Kirk were fantastic hosts. Everything was as expected and perfect. I loved it so much that this will be the place I’ll be at when coming to Colorado. The patio was amazing at night and so peaceful. The cottage style house and historic town were beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place to anyone.

We booked Aspen Lake cabin during the fall season and it was perfect timing. There were acres and acres of turned Aspen trees. It made for a beautiful backdrop and family photoshoot with our Iphones. The cabin itself it very roomy, clean and both rooms with a king size bed are big and have great views. It is nice to have two separate levels with living rooms. We did not need to turn the heater on as it was very warm during the day and cooled off just right at night. The only unfortunate part of the cabin was that the dishwasher may need some service as it did not wash the dishes properly even after rinsing them beforehand. Overall, it was a great stay for two families.

John, the exceptional host communicated very well! The house was perfect for my husband, daughter and me in beautiful Victor, Colorado for our four-night stay. We enjoyed the new back porch for coffee in the mornings. The kitchen is very well equipped. The gas stove worked well. The refrigerator performed beautifully and we enjoyed ice and filtered water on demand. We had plenty of hot water for bathing. The clothes washer and dryer were very handy. The tv and internet worked beautifully. The heater came on automatically when the temperatures dropped at night. We enjoyed John’s recommendation of the local bakery within walking distance where we liked the home-made pasties (turnovers with beef, potatoes and carrots) . We drove the 4 miles into Cripple Creek for fun Independence day activities. The home was very handy and comfortable for our high altitude escape from the summer heat. Michelle was amazing! Very responsive and so helpful! She was so easy to work with and answered any questions I had. The cabin was beautiful and I would recommend anyone to stay here!
