Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

There are excellent fishing opportunities on the lake. What's more, the location is ideal for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.
