The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

Cantinho d´ Moinho

3 km from the center of Ponte de Lima, Casa do Moinho is a charming traditional Minho house, full of history and surrounded by a dream landscape. This space was born from the recovery of old mills typical of the region, maintaining the original architecture, but offering all the comfort of a modern stay.
