The Cottage is part of a property owned by the Bernocchi family, which was already on maps of the area in the 1500s and is located right on an ancient Roman road that crossed the Calvana Mountains. About 9 km from Prato and 20 km from Florence. The Cottage, open on three sides, is situated in a panoramic position surrounded by a private park, ideal for walking and sports. A real home fitted with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Large outdoor spaces, garden, and botanical garden.

The Sound of Barga-Tuscany

Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. L'Abitazione del Lauro, the larger of the two self-contained apartments, is spread over two floors, has 4 bedrooms (5th optional), 2 bathrooms, and a separate entrance. It is ideal for families or groups, who want to stay little under the hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, immersed in nature, in the peace of the countryside, surrounded by wild animals and immersed in the large equipped garden.

It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.

Located near the path nr 1 (AV5T), you can reach Riomaggiore and Portovenere by trekking through the paths with a splendid view. It also has the convenience of arriving with the car under the house, the recommended way to reach us. 10 minutes by car from La Spezia and even less from Riomaggiore. Free parking on site.
