A 10-minute walk from the train station, 8 minutes from Piazza Erbe, Piazza Sordello, and the sunset over Lake Superiore. Private entrance on the first floor with single flight of stairs, living area with kitchen, sleeping area with double bed 160x190, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower. A large open space of 300 sqm, obtained from an ancient 18th-century stable that is part of the historic Palazzo Secco Pastore from the second half of the 15th century. Loft with large windows overlooking the porch (300 sqm) and the park enclosed by ancient walls. I furnished it with passion, creating a mix of various eras, thus obtaining an original, welcoming and comfortable style. A space deliberately out of time! Ideal if you love the real Lombard countryside. I've lived here since 1995.

L'alloggio è una casa indipendente, composta da soggiorno con divano e TV, cucina attrezzata e dotata di elettrodomestici e stoviglie, due camere matrimoniali ciascuna con il proprio bagno completo di servizi e doccia. Non mettiamo in condivisione gli ospiti. Esternamente c'è un giardino privato e un ampio spazio cortilizio dove poter parcheggiare in sicurezza i mezzi di trasporto. La zona è molto tranquilla e silenziosa, vicinissima ad una pista pedonale e ciclabile in riva al fiume Po.

The two apartments on the first floor are completely self contained, kitchen bedroom and bathroom are well equipped with all you need for your stay, ( we do not serve breakfast or provide shower products) we provide towels and bed linen. Both apartments north and south facing have a view of the countryside. The grounds have security cameras and an alarm system. The garden is equipped with tables for your use. We also live on the premisses so any request you may have we are available.

Lauro's house in the Ferretti Farm

The old Ferretti farmhouse is now a cosy holiday home in the countryside. L'Abitazione del Lauro, the larger of the two independent apartments, is spread over two floors and has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate entrance. It is ideal for families or groups who want to stay in spacious accommodation, just below the hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, immersed in nature, in the peace of the countryside, surrounded by wild animals and immersed in the large equipped garden.

The flat has access to the Belfiore gardens which are one of the magical places in Mantua at any time of year. The gardens overlook the Mincio River, which forms the upper lake of Mantua. In the centre is a unique and extensive cultivation of lotus flowers that was planted in the early 20th century. The flat is 2 kilometres from the city centre, which can be reached in 3 minutes by car and 10 minutes on foot via a convenient cycle path. The flat has an underground garage.
