The apartment is as it appears in the photos; light and airy even if it is located on the basement floor. Overall good standard, clean, proper and pleasant, and with all amenities as described. Good beds, clean bed linen and quiet bedroom with good ventilation. Spacious parking space with the possibility of "grandma charging" of an electric car (per regular outlet). Cozy host, and perfect location for the three of us who were at the chamber music festival and were able to enjoy short walks in beautiful surroundings to the barony and other scenes. Recommended!

The apartment was lovely with a view to the sea, patio in front and an idyllic garden. It is a small house attached to a mansion with a large and great garden, close to Leirvik city center. Inside, everything seemed new and it was very tastefully decorated. Hosting was very flexible and helpful when we needed to make a change in the number of guests after we arrived. We would love to have more time to enjoy the nice patio and view!

Great place , kitchen is well equipped with necessary basics , silent place at nights . rented for work trip to stay during nights and this place served the purpose very well ,got well rested . The sea view is very lovely . Would definitely rent again .

An AMAZING place with an AMAZING host! Nothing was a problem and everyone wants to meet! The feeling of being welcome was like we were “old acquaintances”! And the little extras in the form of a platter of muffins and biscuits, flowers inside and outside, pillows in the garden furniture, even rearranged for an extra sleeping space, and 7 made beds.... Simply gorgeous! Nothing could be better. Hope we have behaved so nicely that we will have the opportunity another time as well.

Veronica's house looks just like the photos - it is modern and fantastically equipped with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. She is incredibly organized, with a binder on arrival with all the information you need to settle right in. The internet is fast, and the view beautiful with lots of walking paths nearby. There was unfortunately some confusion associated with our stay which resulted in a bit of negativity after check-out. My bad: there are usually 2 of us on our sampling trips, which is what I booked for, but we got lucky at the last minute and found out a third person would be able to help as well, after the booking was paid for. When we arrived one bed was already made up beautifully, but we needed two more. The binder said there were sheets under the beds, so my coworkers just made up their own beds as you often have to at Airbnb's and we thought no more of it. After check-out, while i was on the 6 hour drive back home, Veronica wrote me and asked why we used the linens appropriate for 5-6 persons. When I got home and checked my messages, I explained what happened and that it was a work trip so we each needed our own beds, and offered to pay the difference for the third person. For that I got a rather grumpy response and was informed that I had been reported to Airbnb. So, while I recognize we are not without fault in the exchange, the negative response felt a little OTT.

I stayed at Kjellaug’s place with two of my work colleagues for over one month as we were working nearby. It turned out to be the perfect location with everything we needed both in the house itself and in the surrounding area, which had plenty of amenities. For instance, there is a supermarket only two minutes walk from Kjellaug’s and a good bus service into Haugesund and to surrounding areas. The house was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Kjellaug herself was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend Kjellaug’s place if you are planning on staying in the Haugesund area.

The home of Sigve's family, is a unique accommodation and the best Airbnb on our Norway trip. You feel right at home and there is everything, even for the children everything is available. From banybed, to high chair and toys. The garden was beautiful and the area has a lot to explore. If we had known that beforehand, we would have liked to stay. Communication was always very good and the two were always approachable and helpful with tips etc. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you 🥰
