Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Farmhouse Okkingastate

Get away from it all? This is possible on our 200-year-old farm close to the Wadden Coast (Unesco World Heritage) and the cities of Leeuwarden, Harlingen and Franeker. The front house of the farm has been converted into a spacious guest house overlooking the garden and meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. If you come to stay with us, you can discover and experience farm life, the Wadden Coast and Friesland, completely at your own pace. Welcome!

Tiny Farm House met hot tub.

Tussen de groene vlaktes van het Friesche Menaldum vindt u de uniek gebouwde Tiny Farm House met veranda inclusief hot tub. Deze grenst aan een traditionele kop hals romp boerderij uit 1880. Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

De ruimte is ook geschikt voor ongestoord studeren en/of werken, in volledige privacy. Vanuit het keukenraam heeft u weids uitzicht over de tuin en Friese akkers.

Flower chalet

The Bloemenchalet is located in one of the quietest spots of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden, with a beautiful view over the countryside. There are several terraces around the cottage, so you can always sit in the sun and/or out of the wind (it's usually windy here on the coast). Guests of the leisure park can use the swimming pool, the large playground or book a tennis court. The UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea, is only 2 km away. I hope you feel completely at home!

Matjene's tiny house

Cosy and charming cottage with a private entrance and a sunny terrace facing south. Free parking. In front of my house. The duvets are 2-in-1. They are washed every time. After the guests have left. You really have to bend down on the stairs going upstairs. Otherwise, you'll bump your head. There is a small air conditioner. And a fan as well. Within walking distance along the harbour. The centre (15 min), with cosy terraces, the station (10 min) and the beach (20 min)

Gather in our spacious, cozy private residence within walking distance of the Wadden Sea. The perfect place to cook together and dine extensively with beloved friends or family. You can drink your wine by the fireplace or in the grape greenhouse, where you can sit comfortably outside all year round. Also in the large garden (with private parking) it is wonderful to stay in good weather. Base for the Wadden Islands, Harlingen, Leeuwarden and the Frisian lakes.

In this renovated guesthouse along the dike on the Frisian mainland, you can fully enjoy the tranquillity and beautiful nature, adjacent to the fields of potatoes, sugar beet and cereals, and with a view towards the Wadden Sea. The accommodation is less than a kilometre from the Wadden Sea, where you can enjoy wonderful walks and bike rides. There are various restaurants and eateries in the area, where a delicious lunch or dinner is served.

This unique accommodation has its own style. Located on the dike, just 250 meters from the Wad, a world heritage site. The apartment is located in the front house of the former Dijkwachtershuis, known as «'t Strandhuus». Private front garden and private front door with hall. Adjacent to the kitchen and the bathroom. Our charming holiday home is situated in a rural location between the towns of Leeuwarden and Harlingen. The house has all the comforts. Enjoy spring lambs, the song of birds, and sweeping views of the Frisian countryside, even from your bathtub. The park has a lake and a forest path with fruit trees, which is also a habitat for deer. This area is known for its many tea gardens and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site

Cozy overnight stay in 't Bakhuske

Our beautiful comfortable Bakhuske is a small cozy apartment and equipped with every comfort. You have access to a small terrace, and you can also use the garden. Where you can enjoy the sun or, for example, make a fire. You can cycle and walk in the area. There are bicycle routes available.
