This place was amazing from the time I arrived to the time that I left I couldn’t recommend this place more particularly for couples To the outdoor bath that retained heat for hours to the outdoor fireplace place and picking out all of the satellites flying through the sky

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the peaceful surroundings and the stunning panoramic views of both the lush green farm and the sparkling ocean. The location was absolutely perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and relax in nature. The property itself was well-maintained and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond by leaving us fresh milk and the most amazing homemade blueberry muffins. It was such a thoughtful touch, and every morning, we had the perfect treat to enjoy while taking in the breathtaking view. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch, watching the ocean and the farm animals in the distance. It was such a serene experience. The farm itself was charming, with lots of space

this place was great. we loved the views, the spa, comfy bed, nice big shower. very clean, everything we expected. when someone is staying at the other property (the black building seen in one of the listing pics) we kinda lost the sense of complete privacy outside, but both dwellings are oriented to take in the amazing views and the reality is we never actually saw anyone from the other property. it had a great sense of feeling away from it all while being less than 90 mins from Akl city. beautiful starry sky at night. we would happily stay again!

The Gardener's Cottage is an absolute gem! The cottage is nestled amongst the hosts' stunning yard and landscaping - beautiful flowers, gardens, and vining plants. You'll find everything you need inside and Michele has gone above an beyond with providing a very thoughtful and tasty breakfast for guests - this was perfect for us and the morning before we needed to head back to the airport. The bed was extremely comfortable - best sleep all trip!! Highly recommend this host and space. Hope to be back again!

Rachel’s place was charming and clean, peaceful and comfortable. As my husband and I hopped from one activity to another all over Rotorua, it became our home away from home, a place we could relax and recharge. The view of the lake from the living room and bedroom was picture perfect, and getting to see the sheep and chicken added even more to the tranquility. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided upon arrival. Our only regret was not being able to stay here longer.

Perfect spot for a relaxing wekend with friends. We loved how close it was to the beach and the bikes made it so easy to get around Omaha. Kate was super helpful and accommodating.

Gorgeous home for the evening. So lovely in fact we wished we had stayed for longer. Homely, spacious and well kept. The lovely little extra touches including the drink selection made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We ended up taking the recommendation of the first restaurant in the home's instruction guide - Mole and Chicken (a gentle wander down the hill) and it turned out to be my favourite meal of our trip so far. A gorgeous little pub. Thank you again for the stay!

Stayed here for a girls weekend away and it was perfect. Beautiful interior, lovely outside space, comfy beds and great shower pressure! Great location, walking distance to the beach but also felt safe and private. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

No frills cottage in a fabulous location across the road from the river (great for refreshing swims) and a few minutes' walk to Lake Taupo. Thoughtfully stocked with books and games and full kitchen. Zara was very welcoming. A tiny bit of noise from trucks on the highway.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

Amazing surroundings! Peaceful lodging but not too far from Taupo and all the restaurant offerings. Jo offered plenty of amenities to make us feel right at home.

A Peaceful and Authentic Farm Stay Experience with two great hosts either stunning night skies. Our stay at Sunday Country Cabin was truly magical! The peaceful countryside setting provided the perfect escape from city life. The cozy accommodations and warm hospitality from Gary & Michael made us feel right at home. Apart from the stunning views and absolute calmness, this place also provides a great flexibility to visit Rotorua and Tauranga both in a single day, which is of course a cherry on top. Nights were especially breathtaking—calm, quiet, and perfect for stargazing. With no city lights around, the sky lit up beautifully, making for an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a serene retreat with stunning night views, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Nadia’s place was charming and was located in a convenient area in a quiet neighborhood. There was easy access to Rotorua attractions. Nadia was great with communication and posted information about Rotorua on her site. Would def stay there again!!

The cottage was pristine with beautiful linen and the flowers on the table were a nice touch. Our only surprise was the lack of a microwave. Note to self - next time read the amenities more carefully. The grounds were magnificent. A beautiful quiet retreat. I would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you Simon.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage is exactly as described. Compact, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all we needed. It's a very quiet and peaceful place. A bit of a drive to the beach and more to shops so a car is pretty much required. Steve's recommendation of trails (sorry, tracks) was spot on. The Te Henga trail is spectacular, even though it is shortened due to a two year old slip. We would definitely return.

We are a family with two young kids and we absolutely loved staying at Connie's and Harald's place. The cottage is peaceful, surrounded by nature with so many amenities (there are some many toys and games, kids were constantly entertained, even outdoor). We felt truly at home! The best part, however, were Connie and Harald themselves: kind, thorough, proactive, thoughtful... simply the best hosts ever!

Jillene is an amazing host! She was friendly and went above and beyond for us! After the ordeal we had prior to arrival, it was comforting to come to a place that had so much warmth! My aunt enjoyed the fresh eggs and honey. But it was Jillene's handwritten note to welcome us that was extra special. She takes care of her guests as if they were her family. We were out at Hell's Gate (close by) doing our mud spa when it rained. We had hung our clothes out to dry before we left. We would have came home with some soggy clothes. But, Jillene had already brought them into our porch so they would not get wet! Thank you Jillene! Her place has plenty of things to be comfortable. She has a fireplace and a portable heater if you don't know how to use the woodburning one. You can use the Nespresso and also the milk frother...those were fun to use. The place is huge. You can watch the stars and sit out on your porch. Close to town and Rotorua airport.
