Beautiful place for a last minute girl trip! Had a plane cancellation which changed our plans & thanks to Mele & Dean we were able to make the best of it by staying somewhere “drive-able” from central Illinois at this spacious retreat in the WI woods close to Lake Geneva. They were super flexible & accommodating considering it was a last minute booking. Thank you for everything 💕

Elssys Ranch is an absolute gem! The property offers stunning views, a peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful touches that made our stay truly memorable. The accommodations were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We loved exploring the surrounding area and relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a perfect escape that combines nature with comfort, Elssys Ranch is the place to be. Jane responded fast to text messages. very kind, offered to tell about restaurants and local entertainment. I had an issue with the door ( operator error ) called Jane and she called me back to see if i was able to fix the issue, which was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure I reserve there again when I go back into town if available.

Sasha’s place was perfect for our 5-women girls trip! It was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We spent hours chatting and relaxing on the big comfy leather couch, and its proximity to the kitchen was ideal. I even saw a deer peacefully hanging out in the yard on our second morning there! It was too cold outside for us to do any walking or exploring, but the neighborhood looked peaceful and was very quiet. Only a short drive to downtown Geneva makes it a great location. Highly recommend!

Liana’s place was perfect for our girls weekend. It was super clean and the bed was comfortable. You melt right into it! The view from the patio was lovely as well. Liana is very attentive and easy to get ahold of. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely, peaceful, quiet wintry weekend celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday. Steve was so organized, friendly, and communicative, and the property looked just like the pictures! We would love to go back again!

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

Alisha was a great host. Super quick to respond and very helpful. Her place is great and we enjoyed our stay!

The home is exactly as described. It is located in a busy area but the host makes that clear in the description.. personally the gas station across the street was useful for snacks and drinks without having to drive . Shampoo / conditioner / soap and towels provided . I actually forgot my makeup wipes and those were provided too . Overall great stay .. place is super cute and home like .

Beautiful house and neighborhood. About 9 minute walk to Lake Como and 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva. It’s an ideal location if you want to be in a quiet area but still close enough to enjoy all that Lake Geneva has to offer. Will definitely be back soon.

We stayed here for a company retreat and enjoyed having space to be on our own while also having great community/family spaces in the home to come together in. Also just minutes from Lake Como which was a beautiful walk to end our night. Hosts were very responsive & helpful!

Great host, great location, great stay! Victoria's place was ideal for our golf weekend. It had everything we needed, but most importantly it had a deck and a view that was perfect for relaxing in between activities. Would absolutely recommend to anyone that's visiting the area.

We had an amazing girls' weekend here! The space was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a quiet relaxing weekend with friends. We spent most of our time in the living room because it was so cozy! Everyone had their own bed. The house was clean and instructions were easy to follow so there was no stress to getting started or closing up at the end of our stay. The host was flexible with our check-in and our time so we never felt rushed. We can't wait to come back in the spring or summer to take advantage of the porch! Even from inside we saw woodpeckers and so many deer!

Celine’s place is a wonderful place to visit. Very clean and spacious. Hot tub was well maintained. She is very accommodating. My group and I would highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for a quick get away weekend from the Chicago area. The house is cozy and just as described. Tiffany could not have been nicer - from quick responses to questions to a wonderful welcome gift and hand written note to flexibility with checkout time. While there is plenty to do in the area (and Tiffany has lots of info on activities and such) all we really wanted to do was relax and spend time together and this was the perfect place! Coffee on the deck, relaxing conversation around the electric fireplace and comfortable sleeping quarters And if you decide to visit the bungalow be sure to walk up the road to the Watershed for the Friday fish fry and make the drive to have dinner at the Duck Inn - a classic Wisconsin supper club.

Great stay! We had a large group of girls and had plenty of space, the patio area and the hot tub were some of are favorite areas!

House was tastefully decorated & super homey. Very clean, organized and equipped with & the little extras travelers often leave behind! Highly recommend this house!

We had a great girls weekend at Nicole's place! It was a very quick 2-5 minute drive to Grand Geneva and downtown where we went frequently. There are great restaurants and shopping that were close by. Nicole's house was clean, cozy, and the perfect size. The igloo was a fun and cute touch on the deck. Nicole was extremely responsive and friendly in all of her communication. Thank you for a great stay!

Tim’s place was very clean, close to Lake Geneva’s downtown, and he was very accommodating! We came for just a weekend in winter, but I bet it would be even better in summer! We were happy with our stay and would highly recommend!
