Holiday rentals with lake access in Wangerland

Nice cottage on the lake. Clean, tidy and has everything you need during a vacation. The area is also beautiful

The house has a great layout and is very nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable from the beginning! The amenities are great - you don't need anything. The view of the canal behind the garden is a dream. A feel-good oasis where you can really relax and recharge. The communication with our hosts was super pleasant, we always received a quick response and very helpful tips. The "Old Painter's House" is a hidden gem for those looking for relaxation in beautiful Northern Germany.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment and slept well. The whole place was spotlessly clean; the kitchen well equipped. The small terrace in front of the apartment is covered. Next door to the water is a jetty that invites you to linger. Uwe was open-minded and friendly. We got excursion tips. We were able to borrow bicycles from him for a small fee. In the village there is an inn with a beautiful beer garden. The whole settlement is extremely well maintained. Dyke, bakery and supermarket are within walking distance. We highly recommend Uwe's apartment!

We are very grateful that this place was offered to us as an alternative so that our weekend in Berne didn't have to be canceled. The apartment was bright, clean and modernly furnished. We were particularly enthusiastic about the massage chair, which provided additional relaxation. The balcony with awning and outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the fresh air. All in all, it was a completely successful stay in a welcoming atmosphere. We fully recommend the place and would come back any time. Thank you to Sascha for the uncomplicated and friendly support!

Jutta's place is really beautiful, in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and nature. The property is immaculately kept, private and absolutely gorgeous. Jutta made sure we knew where everything was and we had everything we needed. 100% recommend :)

We spent a week in the house on the lake and enjoyed the time very much. The house and the quiet location on the lake are simply fantastic and perfect to spend a few relaxing days. The contact with Jörg was also super pleasant, he was always approachable and very helpful if we had any questions! One of our highlights was the smoking evening with Jörg, highly recommended!!! All in all, a great week, we will be happy to come back :)

The house was beautiful. Especially the location was great. You are in the middle of the cozy center, but the street where the house is located is very quiet. It is also nice that there is a garden. The place is clean and everything you need is available. The only downside we found was that there are also guests staying in the apartment on the upper floor and that is sometimes quite noisy.

Thank you for the beautiful accommodation! We were able to relax and unwind wonderfully. Exactly what we wanted. In the morning and in the evening it was especially nice to hear the toads in the Wangermeer. The houseboat is equipped with screens around the windows, so spiders have stayed outside the house boat. However, those who are afraid of spiders should know that the spiders are outside on the houseboat. Which is quite normal, in nature. However, the small fluttering sparrows regularly take them away :-) The sunrise over the sea was a treat every morning. We'd love to vacation here again. Best regards, Ulrike, Juliane and Jesse

This place is a real East Frisian pearl! We stayed here over Christmas and felt super comfortable. The view is a dream. While cooking for the family, you can see the big sea. Kitchen is well equipped, we even didn't miss anything while cooking Christmas. In the evening we sat by the fireplace and in the morning we enjoyed the first rays of sunshine with coffee with goose chatter on the terrace. The accommodation has a playfully furnished children's room (which our daughter loved). There was no question about the TV. In general, there is plenty of storage space and everything was very clean and maintained. We noticed that attention has been paid to quality here. From slippers to bedding, everything is great. We will be happy to come back !
