Pedestrian zone and train station are each only a few minutes walk away. The loft has a kitchenette, a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bathtub as well as a floor-level shower. The ceiling spotlights can be adjusted in color to create an individually cozy ambiance for bathing.

The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

Netzschkau is a small town with approx. 3000 inhabitants in the picturesque Vogtland between Plauen, Zwickau and the Thuringian Greiz. In our rooms you have free Wi-Fi and parking is available in front of the house. The charming wooded surroundings invite you to hike, walk and cycle. In winter, the ski resorts of Schöneck, Mühlleiten and Klingenthal invite you to ski.

The Shack in the Forest

Welcome to our retreat in the woods. Our small forest cabin is located on a fenced woodland property and awaits nature-loving guests. We use filtered rainwater and electricity from a small solar panel system, following the motto of returning to the source for pure nature and tranquility. Sometimes less is more. Dogs get their money's worth. The approximately 1000m² forest is fenced in with a 160cm high fence and the dogs can run freely

Two minutes' walk to the tram and 10 minutes to the beautiful market. 4 adults can easily stay there. The highlight is of course the beautiful large roof terrace. We warmly welcome you to our alpaca farm. Our large apartment can accommodate up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms. Alpaca quilts and stone pine pillows ensure a good night's sleep. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, large fridge-freezer, spices, etc. In the bathroom you will find a shower, bathtub, a separate toilet as well as a washing machine.
