The Stone House

The Stone House is set in 24 acres of natural Tasmanian bush in the Arthur Pieman Reserve. This is in the pristine Tarkine Wilderness area. The Stone House is made of stone, beautiful timber and earth rammed walls. We have made a rough track around our block, please explore. The grasslands are home to Bennetts Wallabies, pademelons, tassie devils, wombats, quolls and possums as well as the magnificent wedge tailed and sea Eagles. The coast is wild and untamed and ready to be explored.

The Launch Pad

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Only a 5 minute walk down to the Strahan village and boat cruise terminals. 2 minute walk to the supermarket Wifi is connected. There is a tv on the deck, lounge room and all 3 bedrooms. Atleast 6 cars/trailers etc can be parked in the property *please note* The property looking out towards the water isn’t fenced off. If you have young kids then please make sure they don’t go passed the star pickets.

From this prime position at Regatta Point, overlooking the West Coast Wilderness Railway Station, across Macquarie Harbour and to Strahan Village, this fantastic self contained luxury three bedroom home is the ultimate getaway. With fabulous views of the water, trains and cray boats you can relax and take a breath in this magnificent hexagonal living/entertainment area with large viewing windows that have been built into its three northern sides.
