Cabin was great. Overall, very clean and cozy. Took a minute to figure out how to turn on the heater, but that was my only issue. Jacuzzi was a 10/10, it had snowed when we went so it made the experience 10 times better! Would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Amazing stay! The location was perfect just a quick 20-minute drive to downtown Big Bear and the ski resorts, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The cabin itself exceeded my expectations. The rooms were so much more spacious than they looked in the pictures, giving us plenty of space to relax and unwind. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway in Big Bear!

This was a birthday surprise and very much enjoyed. Mark was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only hiccup was with the fireplace, which he provided instructions for and we got to work temporarily, but later it went out again. We opted to just use a space heater we brought and the amazing fire pit for s’mores. I’d definitely recommend the space for a peaceful getaway.

My partner and I came to this property, and it was exactly what we needed. The place was very cozy and clean. The hot tub and sauna were very enjoyable as well. Definitely would come back, and recommend this place!

The cozy house nestled in the mountains offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. A gentle stream flows just below the house, where you might spot deer wandering nearby. In the backyard, a warm soaking pool provides the perfect spot to relax while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views. With its serene setting and excellent amenities, this retreat offers great value for an unforgettable getaway.

Was close to many restaurants. We got no snow but it was still nice. The morning hikes were our highlight of our trip.

Our stay at Seagulls Nest was amazing. Great communication from Melinda and James. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We saw deer in the front yard every morning, the beach was beautiful, and the hiking trails were amazing. Doggie beds and food bowls were even provided for our lil dog. This was my first time staying in an air bnb and I appreciated the binder that was provided with clear expectations, important information, and local attractions. We had an amazing time and I would 10/10 stay here again. Thanks so much James and Melinda.

Nice space for a group with older kids, since they can have their own little cabin (but will need to come into the main cabin for the bathroom). Everything was clean and easy to find.

The house was nestled in by the river with lots of privacy. We loved the close proximity to the mountain for snow tubing and playing in the snow! We will be looking for an opening in the future when we want to go back up relive the glory days.

Had an absolutely amazing time! If the opportunity presents itself, I will DEFINITELY be booking again!

Location is really close to town, skiing and snow tubing. We had an excellent stay and would come again!

Breathe taking views, thought design of the cabin, and attention to detail. My stay was wonderful and I felt right at home. The cabin is secluded, but still very close to town. If you wish for a getaway in the gorge, these cabins are for you!

Perfect experience- tidy accommodations that had everything I needed. The shared kitchen and bathrooms are updated and modern with nice rustic touches. They are cleaned regularly. I will definitely consider staying here again!

The property is in a great location. It's about a 5 minute drive to town. We enjoyed sitting on the porch while drinking our coffee and watching our dog run. The land surrounding the cabin is spacious! Part of it has a chain link fence, so if your dog is reactive to other dogs/people that pass by, I'd suggest a bark collar (this certainly came in handy for us). I'd also suggest taking old sheets/blankets to cover the light colored couch, just to make sure that your dog doesn't stain it. I'm glad we did this! If you're into giving your dogs actual beef bones- PLEASE make certain to do so inside the cottage. There were 2 in the yard- a large and small one. My dog almost swallowed the latter which could have potentially been a choking hazard. At night, we were kept warm by the Franklin stove inside the bedroom. I'm light sensitive so I had to cover my eyes with pillows but I think a sleep mask would have helped. If you're looking for a cozy peaceful place to stay- this is it!

Amazing wilderness adventure and an adult and kids paradise!!

Staying here was a wonderful experience! A perfect little escape in Hope, so remote, and all the amenities -- including the most amazing breakfast! The beds were so comfy, the cabins were warm, and we had the perfect space to prep for our next days bikepacking adventure. Having a hot breakfast ready and accessible was a great start to the day! I would definitely stay again/recommend to anyone hoping to experience a peaceful and beautiful remote Alaska experience!

We ended up staying in both cabins when we added an extra night and they’re both wonderful! The instructions provided to get to the cabin were super clear and easy to follow. The host sent things to do ahead of time which was great and continued to be super responsive throughout the stay. This is the perfect place to stay for Denali as you’re in nature, surrounded by trees and views and very private while still not far from town and the park. The space was great for three of us. There’s a mini fridge, kettle, microwave, and coffee maker and then cups, coffee pods, tea, cream, and sugar/sweeteners provided. And a corkscrew! No wifi, but both Verizon and AT&T service is strong. We loved our stay here and would stay here again in the future! Highly recommend

It was our second stay here. We had such a wonderful time. Luanna was such a wonderful host. Quick to respond and left helpful info about places in their area. The cabin is quiet and lovely. We saw lots of wildlife around town and it’s the perfect place to go if you plan on going hiking or outdoor exploring. Perfect place to reconnect with nature. We will for sure be coming back again!

The cabin and its surroundings were beautiful. I have never seen a more well stocked airbnb, from the bathroom to the kitchen, that had every gadget you could possibly ever need. The hosts were amazing to work with. They were quick to respond and provided all the details and information to make our stay relaxing and peaceful. There was even a Christmas tree and lights around the cabin! We will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
