We had the best time at Ramy’s place! She is an incredible host with wonderful energy. This little slice of heaven is absolutely worth the visit. Bring cash for the boat ride and the farm stands! We will be visiting again!

We are Big Island locals, and love coming here a few times a year. Peaceful, South Point not too far away, Paradise Meadows (delicious chocolate and mac nuts) even closer, a perfect getaway.

Private Island on Poulsbo Lake

SimonRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a fantastic time on the private island as a family. For us it was a real treat to drive only a short distance from Seattle for a great getaway location. The house is extremely well appointed and the main shower - wonderful! Would recommend unreservedly and appreciated the introduction from Jason.

Savary Island cabin steps from sandy beach.

KirstenRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Martine's place is in one of the best spots on Indian Point! It's a 30 second walk to the beach but protected from the sun and wind that can sometimes be intense on the waterfront--we watched every single beautiful sunset. The sunset trail starts very close to the cabin and we walked it most days. The fridge and freezer are a good size for our family of 6 to be well-stocked for the week. She's got 4 working island bikes and a great SUP that our family enjoyed using. We will return for sure!

Charming Tiny House on Private 5 Acres

ElizabethRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was a very peaceful, restorative stay. Lots of time spent on the porch listening to birds and watching deer. The living area is very comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked with pans and utensils and the bath was light and clean. The propane stove was easy to use and kept it warm and cozy. Corinne communicated well and the description of the house was perfect. One thing people should know - the stairs up to the sleeping loft are narrow and I found them tricky to navigate at night. Sleeping upstairs would not work for anyone with mobility issues. That said, there is a comfy pull-out couch downstairs.

Christa's off grid, island cabin!

JaredRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Beautiful and fun cabin on the lake! Christa met us there at check-in and showed us around. She was kindly flexible and accommodating when we arrived a little earlier than expected. She gave us instructions on how to run everything (this “off-grid” cabin and its amenities run on solar/battery/generator power and/or propane). She was communicative during the booking process and throughout our stay. Our family had a wonderful stay on this little island on Shawnigan Lake!

Lighthouse Island - Mike's Room

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Myron’s island sanctuary was charming and fun, for all ages. He kindly provided many activities for my 11 year old who had an absolute blast. Other guests sharing the common outdoor and indoor spaces was part of the fun, getting to know other travelers by the fire pit, felt very communal. We loved getting a taste of the lake life that we had been missing and faking asleep to the sound of loon cries.

Lighthouse Island - The Knotty Moose

BrunaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
10/10. If I could give Myron and his place 100 stars I would. I’ve been on AirBnB for almost a decade all over the world, and this is easily one of the best AirBnBs and hosts I’ve ever found. Myron is a wonderfully attentive host and his place is an absolute PARADISE. It’s truly a place to come back to year after year. Thank you so much for the hospitality Myron!

Wild Horse Island!

DianeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The location of this off-grid cabin (with electricity and running water) can’t be beat. Beautiful private pebble beach overlooking crystal clear water. Our family group had 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. The space worked well for us (kids and their kids in the loft, us in the main floor bedroom) but might not have enough privacy for other groups. (You can hear everything inside.) Great communication with host Jordan and co-host Tyler. Cell service is good (for better or worse). We didn’t want for anything while there but might have needed a cooler to store food if we’d stayed longer than 3 nights (fridge is on the small side), and we wished we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Be prepared to unload at the dock, anchor at a buoy offshore and then kayak, pedal boat, or swim to shore (pedal boat and kayaks provided). This was our first time on Flathead Lake and it was an amazing way to experience it. We absolutely would stay here again.

Sunset Island- the island you can drive onto

AmbreenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We booked Sunset Island for our tenth anniversary to celebrate with friends and family. For some of them, this was their first time being at an outdoor chalet. The caretaker, Charla, was very helpful and guided us to build a fire which was extremely popular with the kids. We highly recommend this place to both experienced and new outdoorsy adventurers.

Wyndham Kauai Beach Villas | 1BR/1BA King Suite

TeresaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The place was damp and musty upon arrival but we were able to open the doors and windows the next morning to air everything out. It was perfect for the remainder of the trip. The property was well maintained and everything that was represented was available. Nice to have washer and dryer. The staff was friendly and responsive. The property is conveniently located in a beautiful, quiet and safe area. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The Eagle's Nest -Whale Island Treehouse

AnthonyRating, 5 stars15 months ago
I am writing this review based on the expectations and the location it is in. keep in mind there are many things you will have to do on your own as it says in her listing. I also have a remote property on airbnb. I understand the challenges with the understanding from my clients of what they are from my clients of what they are getting into. for where you are this is an for where you are this is an amazing opportunity to explore the remoteness of this beautiful place. they make it easy as long as you follow the directions provided. I would highly recommend this to those inclined to appreciate this sort of rustic experience.

Enjoy camping on a private island on Lake Tapps!

BetsyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a Wonderful time at the island!!! We stayed two nights with our (older) lab, and Sherrie and her family were a pleasure and SO accommodating!!! They helped us with all our gear and getting our dog on/off the boat, they brought us extra water and propane...just all around the consummate hosts!!! The island was as promised...we swam and kayaked to our hearts' content and enjoyed exploring a bit and just generally taking in the beauty of our surroundings! Honestly, No complaints, and we both highly recommend it!!! Thank you, Sherrie! 😃

Doe Island South

MimiRating, 5 stars29 months ago
We stayed on Doe Island for roughly 5 weeks, and had a wonderful time watching seals, porpoises, herons, stunning sunsets and beautiful starry nights. The cabin is definitely rustic, working off of water cisterns, a composting toilet, and solar/generator powered, but we were comfortable managing these. Steve was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable, bringing over more water when needed and troubleshooting when we accidentally blew a fuse. The high speed internet made it possible for my daughter to work from there with a beautiful "office" view, seeing our resident seal visit every day! The provided kayaks made it easy to toodle around the harbour, and the crab pots - thrown right off the dock - provided some great meals. Steve helped out with our arrival and departure. It is also obvious that the host is in progress of upgrading areas of the island, so some spots look more in-progress than polished. Overall, the spot is absolutely gorgeous, the host is super helpful and hospitable, but it is definitely not a hotel -- you'll need to be aware of water and power consumption, and it is fairly isolated. Having your own boat to get around is recommended if you're there for an extended stay. (You can try checking with area marinas or other nearby places to park your car.) We'll definitely be going back!

Bird Of Paradise TVU-1868 - Ke Iki Beach Bungalows

BRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A stay at the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows is a must do while on Oahu and those wanting to experience the laid back lifestyle of the North Shore. Greg and family are excellent hosts. Responsive, friendly and always helpful with recommendations. Greg ensures you are well looked after during your stay. The Ke Iki grounds are lush and the bungalows are well equipped and maintained. Just a short walk to Foodland and several food trucks. Private access to the beach. We loved spending time in the outdoor space. Capturing glorious sunsets, the pounding of relentless shorebreak and whales breaching in the distance. Wished we could stay longer. Hope to return again soon!

Doe Island North Rustic Home

KirstenRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Steve went above and beyond for our stay - truly a top notch host. Responsive and friendly, he made check in seamless and was on hand if we needed anything. The cabin was lovely - beds comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom sparkling. We absolutely loved the salt water hot tub (and we mean hot!) and the cozy wood fireplace when the rain came one night. Watching the porpoises, seals, otters and eagles was super relaxing, as was meandering around the harbour in our kayaks. Will definitely come back! Thanks Steve!

Rustic Mudge Island Retreat

PhoebeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
From start to finish (both via Allen's boat!) this was an extremely memorable, peaceful stay. Allen is a terrific host who made us feel at home and cared for while providing us with lots of space of our own. Mudge Island is a treasure and the space where you'll stay is incredibly comfortable with a beautiful deck and an extremely cozy bed! I cannot recommend this place enough - no doubt this the best kept secret of the Gulf Islands.
