Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in West Hartford

Loved this place and would stay here again and again! We moved into this space pretty last minute to vacate a place that was rough and Oomi could not have been more helpful and immediately responsive. She let us check in right away and the place was in perfect condition- great building, easy to check in, so convenient to where we worked, and the space was so clean, comfortable, and wonderful. Can’t recommend enough.

Alicia was amazing to work with and extremely responsive! Weather caused changes to my travel plans which created plenty of other stress and she was fantastic to work with to sort out! Very clear and detailed instructions. No questions throughout my stay. She checked in to make sure everything was going well. Primary reason for booking was the proximity to Yale campus. It was perfect, 3 blocks away. Quiet building with helpful residents when asked questions. It is an older building. The unit has some great updates in the kitchen and bath that fit the space and make it more functional and inviting. Will definitely stay again!

This is our second stay at this location. The place is clean and comfortable, and in a great East Rock location. Look forward to another stay.

Best Air Bnb I’ve ever stayed in! My stay was amazing! I, along with my kids felt right at home. We did NOT want to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Check-in/out instructions were very simple & detailed. The place looks exactly the way it does in the pictures. I wish I could buy this unit lol! We loved the skylights and central air features as well! The plants were beautiful! The only thing I’d suggest is more wash cloths as we had only one and there were 3 of us. The iron may need to be replaced as it got extremely hot and burned a hole through my son’s dress pants! Lastly, if you have ambulatory issues, this unit is on the third floor so just an FYI! All in all, I loved the place and will definitely be back! SN: Shelley was very attentive, responsive, and engaging! Great host! I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My daughter and I had a great stay at Kathryn's place! Kathryn was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The place was very roomy and comfortable with large bedrooms, a full kitchen, large living room area, and lots of games/puzzles/activities for entertainment. Location was great as well - private yet close to local amenities.

Ronnie was great as a host. Very responsive and good to work with. I stayed there for a month when I first relocated to CT for a job and it worked well. It is a studio apartment, so not a lot of extra space, but certainly met my expectations and needs. It was clean and modern and exactly as depicted in the photos and description. Easy drive to stores for groceries and other basic needs as well as several local restaurants. Not inexpensive when staying there for a month, but in line with other furnished short term rentals in the area and compared to other options I saw, I'm happy to have selected this.

Kay was a great host. She was extremely flexible, communication was super clear, and the apartment was great look at what living in WeHa would be like!

My husband and I stayed at Desiree’s place for New Years weekend. The space was beautiful, clean, comfortable and perfect for our getaway. Close to the casino and spa and anything you need. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay!! Beautiful home, clean, had everything we needed. Quiet place as well!! Only thing the heated outdoor pool was closed due to maintenance during our stay, but everything else was perfect! Will definitely be staying again!!

This is a great studio. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s past 4 years of coming to New Haven for daughters college years but never in such a good location This is walkable to everything Yale and downtown Soooo many good restaurants plus the museums etc Very Comfy bed lots of towels Shower water takes a minute to get hot but there’s lots of it when it dies plus there’s dispensers of shampoo conditioner and body wash. even iron and board plus umbrellas! Everything u could need has been thought of! Will definitely book again. Hosts very responsive. Some reviews mentioned the elevator …worked fine for us! FYI very clean well managed laundromat next door Thank you

The next time I plan to visit Connecticut, I will definitely consider staying here again. The location was fantastic, offering beautiful views of downtown Hartford. It was a peaceful area with friendly neighbors, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. The only downside I encountered was that when I first walked into the apartment, it had a musty smell in the hallway due to a lack of air fresheners, and the TV remote wasn't working. However, after I reached out to the staff about the issues, I received new batteries and a wall plug from his assistant in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the remote still didn’t work, so I ended up using the Roku remote on my phone. Coming from a real estate background, I’d say the place is a bit overpriced, mainly due to the building’s condition; it feels somewhat rundown. Still, I’d rate it a solid 8.8 out of 10 overall. Brain thanks for hosting me.

This villa is a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Though in a condo complex, the villa itself felt private. The villa is just a few minutes walk from the clubhouse, which has a jacuzzi and pool (open in summers), and the Norwich Inn. We did not get to go to the clubhouse, but the Inn had a great spa and restaurants. The villa is also a 5 minute drive from Mohegan Sun and is accessible via Uber. The fireplace made the villa very cozy. Would definitely stay again!

My colleagues and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. Erna was very proactive and had a great personality.

Our work crew said that they found Bob's place full of old-world charm while also providing all the modern necessities. If you're looking for a hip TikTok hang, this may not be the place for you, but if what you want is a clean, comfortable home for relaxing or remote work, Bob's place is highly recommended. It was a welcome respite from long workdays. Bob was easy to work with and the photos are an accurate presentation of the space. Bob even made sure the drive and walk areas were snow and ice free during their stay. Thanks Bob!

My family had a wonderful stay at AnnGina’s beautiful home in Groton. The decor was incredible as was bedding and linens. AnnGina was very responsive to our every need including allowing an early check in and late check out and even ordering an air fryer to meet our needs. The location was perfect for a wedding at Branford House or a shoreline vacation.

The home was exactly the way it is in the photos, only better! Everything was clean and spotless. Plenty of kitchen and laundry supplies to use. The home is in a very secluded and in a quiet neighborhood. You will never see another person unless you drive out of the very long driveway and into town. The backyard was scenic and perfect for the fall season. Overlooking the river, especially in the fall is very scenic and was perfect for what we were hoping for. Communication with the Rental property was kind, courteous and professional. The even offered us a late check out as long as they did not rent the property that day. Me and my 5 family members were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this property for all seasons. Will definitely return.

This place was amazing from the moment I walked in being welcomed with a stocked kitchen of breakfast essentials. The rooms were cozy and clean. I was so intrigued with the house being built in 1802 and history on the walls with all the renovations. My host was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Jan's house was a great stay with plenty of room for six adults. We loved the game room and outdoor hot tub. Instructions for the hot tub were clear and easy to follow. We'd definitely stay again!

Jessi's place was exactly as described. It was cute and cozy and perfect for what we needed. Jessi responded to any questions quickly and was very clear in any and all instructions. The neighborhood was peaceful and the house was very easy to find. We will definitely be staying again!
