Holiday rentals in West Henrietta

Alec was a great host! He responded very quickly every time, and when our initial booking ran into an issue, he was quick to not only resolve it, but offer alternate dates which actually worked out better in the long-run. The property itself is on the rustic side, has amazing views, is right on the lake, and offers a lot of peace and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked for several meals we had at the house (why go anywhere else?), but we were glad we brought our own coffee and toiletries. Kids will love the loft area, and there are plenty of places to spread out to enjoy the scenery. Finally, in an area where AirBnB bookings are very expensive with outrageous cleaning fees or surprise "damage deposits", this property is very affordable with no surprises! We'd definitely stay again!

This house was exactly what we needed! We had a group of 6 for the weekend that was booked within only a couple of weeks of arriving. From booking to checking out, Alida was very responsive to any and all of our questions! This house allowed everyone some space when necessary and none of us felt like we were crowding one another. I would absolutely book with Alida again when I'm in the Rochester area!

We were 7 of us, mostly siblings, so with 6 bedrooms it was perfect. The rooms were simple yet clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. While the house is not right on the water is is a very short stroll down to the docks and we had a beautiful view of Keuka Lake from the front porch and windows. There is much to do in the area-hiking, fishing, wine tasting. Also we enjoyed kayaking on the lake which is very beautiful and clean. All the stores you may need for supplies are about a 5 minute drive away in Penn Yan. We did a lot of cooking at the house and found the kitchen to be well stocked. There is a fire pit encircled by Adirondack chairs and we enjoyed campfires 2 of the nights we were there. Brian lives 2 doors down, but we never saw him, so there is no worry of the landlord being intrusive. All in all we would definitely stay again!

Denise’s home was beautiful, comfortable and convenient for our needs. The rooms were spotless and very cozy. The bathrooms were sparkly clean and even stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was a humongous help as I usually forget my own when I travel! Denise was so responsive and attentive to any of our needs. Her father was a huge help during our stay and came by anytime we had a question or needed help with something. We were able to bring our fur children which was a huge bonus. The fenced in yard was great for my girls who were able to roam free and do some exploring in the snow. The addition of the large dog crate and dog runs were also great. I loved seeing that doggy shampoo, dog poo bags, some dog toys and even a muzzle were available if needed.

Kristin was amazing she made me and my family feel so comfortable being in a new place ! My family and I are so happy for being in such a beautiful house like Kristin’s.

The place looked exactly like the photos. It was beautiful, clean and had wonderful views of the mountain. It was walkable to Bristol but that's weather dependent and if you already had a lift ticket. If you had one you could hop right into a lift once you got to the mountain. The fireplace did not work and the caretaker did not respond to outreach. It was the main bummer of the place because of course you want a fireplace for apres ski! The kitchen had all the cookware needed but didn't have much outside of coffee and some creamer. We would definitely go back!

This cozy cabin was the perfect winter break getaway for our family. We loved the fireplace, loft area/game room, and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of nature/outdoor activities to enjoy nearby as well as being close to a town with grocery store, restaurants, and other stores.

We had a wonderful time, and the place was perfect for our needs. Kayte was friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We were in town for the high school production of Mama Mia and could easily walk to the theater as well as town and shopping. We would absolutely love to stay here again, maybe for next year's play!?!
