We received a very warm welcome from Fiona when we arrived, the ‘check-in’ was smooth, clear and friendly and we immediately felt at home. The house is exceptional quality, located in a beautiful spot, drivable to local villages and also well located for easy motorway access. All rooms in the house are really well appointed with plenty of space for our family, including kids. We appreciated the little touches Fiona added, such as home baked goods, jams, eggs and chocolate. The house was perfect for our long weekend in the area, and we fully recommend this house to others - we would certainly like to return again.

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

My team and I have stayed here a couple of times now, Catherine and the property both exceed my expectations.

We visited to celebrate a big birthday and the house more than accommodated the 10 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was a whole cupboard of board games. The hosts were welcoming and the house was stunning.

Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

We had a lovely weekend at Swallows Nest, the property is really spacious and set on 3 levels. My eldest son joined us from Manchester and we were able to watch the moon raking festival which was really pretty and great fun. Thanks for a lovely time, would really recommend

🌳Such a lovely place to stay! The grounds are gorgeous, the home is stylish and comfortable and we loved the proximity to Harrogate. ✨ Sarah also has an adorable art 👩🏻‍🎨studio/school that connects to the renovated barn. Lastly, it snowed while we were there and Sarah’s lovely husband and son helped me to push my car out ❄️. Would 💯 stay here again.

Really lovely, big property with plenty of space. I love when airbnbs are not full of clutter so you have plenty of space to put out your own stuff, which this place did. There was a great welcome basket and my kids were so excited to get into the hot tub. The beds were very comfy and the house was so clean -- we moved one of the sofas so we could all sit together and watch a movie and there wasn't a speck of dust underneath the sofa. Check-in was easy and it's a short walk to food/groceries. I also appreciated how upfront Angela was with letting us know about the £500 deposit.

stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect, very helpful with preparing the property for my son who has additional needs, such a beautiful place to stay with amazing views everything you need and so much space it was perfect for us !!!

Beautiful house and spotlessly clean. Great location close to Penistone with lots of pubs nearby. We felt at home and Kay was always responsive and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottages, the house met all our needs and more would highly recommend. The cottages were incredibly clean, cosy and stylish. Sarah was a very welcoming and responsive host. Our little ones loved feeding the goats and seeing the cat around the place. Thanks again for a great stay. James, Stella & the Edmond family.

The stay was absolutely brilliant. The barn was very well decorated, cosy and warm. Phillipa really went out her way to ensure that everything was there. The kitchen was fully stocked up and in case we forgot anything, Phillipa had it such as toothbrush, toothpaste, milk etc ... The little notes around the place to guide us was such a lovely touch. The welcome pack and the lovely little biscuits and coffee was lovely. Service was amazing. Phillipa was always at hand, in case we ever needed anything. She even went out her way to get some flowers and chocolate for my wife and set it all up for her as a surprise, as well as decorating the place to make it more romantic and cosy. We will definitely be coming again, if we are ever in Leeds again!

I had a fantastic stay at The Piggery! It was incredibly comfortable, private, and set in beautiful surroundings—a true home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Barry, the host, was very welcoming. He provided clear instructions for arriving, which made finding the place easy. He also recommended a lovely circular walk, which I really enjoyed. My dog absolutely loved it here too! It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway, and I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Oh Becky’s place is wonderful, she has great communication, and the place is spotlessly clean and just beautiful! She recommended the malthouse pub which was a great recommendation. It was a great stay! The place is just perfect for friends staying together for a weekend, the bedrooms are great! All en-suite which is ideal for all of us girls that stayed. And the beds were really comfy! We had a wonderful stay and would love to stay again, would absolutely recommend Becky and her barn conversion for anyone looking to book a relaxing, beautiful stay with friends or family in the area. The Cow Shed is a great place to stay to discover North Yorkshire. Although attached to the owners house it’s extremely private with its own entrance. The views are spectacular and when we were there in late August lavender bushes were flowering all around the property. Lucy was a kind, communicative and attentive host and the information provided in the house about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc was extremely useful. We particularly enjoyed The Square and Compass pub nearby. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the four poster bed with views across the countryside and the pool table provided hours of entertainment!

This was the fifth time we've stayed at this lovely cottage. As it's a converted barn, there is plenty of space; and it is well equipped and has plenty of parking. The area around is beautiful - lots of places to walk. Louise is a great host and communicates well. Unfortunately, there had been a problem with the central heating; but Louise let us know and provided alternative (electric) heaters so we were lovely and warm. She also provided extra logs for the log burner, but we didn't even get around to burning them. We had a lovely stay, and I'm sure we will be back.

Wow, I’ve stayed in air b&bs all around Europe and I can comfortably say this tops them all. Value for money was absolutely incredible, the barn was equipped with literally everything you need and more! It really did feel like home, and we will definitely be back here soon. Amazing location, superb barn and fantastic hosts. 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fabulously clean and comfortable accommodation. Perfect for a family get together with spacious communal areas. We were greeted with some wonderful millionaires shortbread and beautiful flowers.

Corey’s place was absolutely fantastic. We visited as a mini break to celebrate the end of my chemotherapy treatment. It was exactly what we needed. A nice private secluded spot. It had everything we needed, a massive tv with an Xbox and netflix etc, a fully fitted kitchen and utility room, a downstairs toilet, comfy sofas, a crazy comfy super king sized bed, a massage chair, a lovely bathroom with walk in shower, a pinball machine (free to play) and a hot tub in an outbuilding with speakers and lights to play your own music. The whole experience was dreamy and exactly what we needed, and quite frankly a bargain for what you get. Corey couldn’t have been more helpful, but was so respectful of our privacy. He had excellent knowledge of the area and good dog friendly pub recommendations. He was very pleasant and welcoming. We would very happily return to the barn!

Lovely stay here with family for big birthday celebrations. Stunning house and views - matched the pictures! Very clean and cozy and perfect for a family with children as plenty of toys inside and out and very child friendly. Unfortunately hot tub wasn't working but Adam kept me in the loop whilst trying to fix it the week before and was very apologetic. Lovely host, very responsive and helpful. Didn't realise the host and his family actually live there and move out during bookings but it made it all the more homely! Would happily stay there again 🙂

The Laithe is a well presented cottage in a beautiful part of West Yorkshire on the outskirts of Huddersfield. Ideally positioned for walking and sight seeing the cottage was clean, cosy and homely. It has everything you need and we would highly recommend it.
